Mailing Marijuana?

So i was thinking of making a trip to amsterdam and thought id go there and when its time to go home get a case of beer drink it all get a hand held caper and caps and put as much weed as i could in the bottles and mail it bak to my house im not sure if mailing booze is legal but i think it would be a good idea if it is

has anyone mailed weed around ?

I used UPS to send 4z from LA to NY. It got there before I did. I was told they did not 'sniff' packages, but Fedex does. That was six months ago though and things change.

I don't think it's illegal to ship alcohol, but it is illegal to receive it some places, most notably Alaska, and maybe dry counties in other states. What Bevmo does it is they ship UPS with adult signature required. UPS usually doesn't bother making sure you're an adult though. I had them misdeliver a bottle of scotch to the neigbors once, and the kid signed for it. lol

You'll have to worry with customs and possible intense scrutiny coming international though, so you should probably take that into consideration. Bottles of alcohol, wines, fruit juices, and such could be considered contraband depending on the country of origin so they're liable to get looked into.

well it would be going from amsterdam to canada Ontario and i know canadian customs is't as strick as the states so mayb?

Iv'e posted stuff from the dam to scotland lots of times. Only once has it not got here and i never heard anything for it, The way i done that was just got loads of they excursion leaflets in the hotels, popped them in an envelope with the grass flattened down and wrapped with selotape. I usually planned before i went just incase i could not get what i wanted in the dam. All i took with me was selotape and the biggest shampoo and conditioner bottles i could find, which were not see thru. I just folded up the weed in the bags nice and tight and wrapped them with seloptape over and over again. just popped them in the shampoo bottles and u are sorted. I am not saying this is the best way but ive done it that way for years. I also have a wee dutch m8 a met online who post me gear whenever a want it.

Sending yourself bud from Amsterdam, especially being to the US, is not exactly an intelligent thing to do.
Think about the amount of people who had the same great idea as you and have tried it.
I don't care if it's an envelope, anything coming from AMSTERDAM is going to have a big red flag stamped on it.

Google it, and you'll find horror stories of peeps getting busted for shipping green.

I pretty much agree, but he's in canada i believe. I havent dealt with canadian customs in a while but its always been way easier to get into canada from the us than the us from canada when i have. The american guys were always dicks about it, canadian guys were alot less worried about searching and stuff like that. Thats just been my experience though, this was post 9-11 but im sure theyve probally cracked down in the year since i visited last so its still a risky idea.

i always mail joints in regular loose leaf envelope. it will go thru the rollers and get pressed but it will get there. are they really gonna have a dog sniffing the lines at the post office that the bulk mail goes in? if i had a drug dog, i would put him with the big packages not in the loose leaf corral

dont they have automated sensors in the computer that checks the mail for that that can measure even miniscule amounts of drugs or explosives? if they havent implimented it yet they will have it up and running soon. I cant remember what news show it was, of course youll probally not have to worry about it as long as your stuff dont go through one of their mega mail hubs. you never know though, i can also see our government wasting a shit ton of money to install them everywhere.

It may be illegal but it can be done. I don't think every mail will be scanned. If crushed, and densely packed, marijuana can't be distinguished under the X-ray. Similarly, dogs cannot be used to sniff all the mails: there are millions of mails. And even when used, they may not be able to detect vacuum packed MJ.

I read on some forums about someone who would send MJ in mail from the Netherlands. His mails were never caught--or so he claims.

Don't send via US Mail - there are about a half dozen extra federal charges that get tacked on if you get caught this way. Use UPS or DHL. I had a friend that has worked for UPS for almost 10 years now and when he worked in the warehouse he would find packages with weed all the time. It was up to him if he wanted to go through the trouble of reporting the suspicious package to his superior or not. With UPS, its fully up to the discretion of the guy in the warehouse handling your package and, lucky for you, that guy probably gets stoned more than you do I have mailed weed dozens of times through UPS. Never more than a couple ounces though. Usually its just samples or joints for my friends in other states. Last summer I even sent 10 GDP clones to a friend in Colorado. I just put them in the box that my roses came in when I ordered them from an online nursery and shipped 'em off UPS.

anything overseas seems sketchy, i'm sure it's safe to say it's not a good idea. yet, i've sent myself a lb from south tx to austin because of those lame border patrol checkpoints, with no problem. when i received it, the box smelt crazy (i'm sure it stunk up the truck) so i guess there must be some luck to it
