Mainlining update 3 months training

What light are you using? Maybe too much red causing more stretch than wanted?
I vegged under an sf1000 and ts1000 while I formed the mainline. In flower they went under an hlg 300l rspec. I grew autos under the hlg while these were vegging and they did not stretch much at all but that could definitely be genetics. The blueberry stretched about 2 feet when it went under the hlg, same as last time.

Did a little research is this saliva gold only for coco and hydro. Never had issues with flimsy limbs but always curious and giant stems.

I was wondering that initially because the back of my si package says "add in reservoir for irrigation" but everywhere I read said just mix it up and toss it in with my normal watering.

I was looking again at it last night though...

So I will need to find a new source of silica that works for dicots as I purchased the wrong one.

Being geared towards hydro or coco though there is a slight advantage to supplementing because there is no silica in that growing media. I did read that some use potassium silica and claim the silica is absorbed along with the potassium. I will have to read more on that later.

My results of less floppyness in this mainline grow over the last mainline are most likely related to better feeding and the 2 week longer veg as these buds are bigger/taller than my last run where I had some issues miscalculating feed and only vegged for 6 weeks

it's mostly cuz dicots are non-accumulators.
Most dicots (broad leaf plants) take up small quantities of silicon and accumulate less than 0.5% in their tissue.
doesn't matter what Si you use, our beloved plant will only take up so much...yeah .5% sounds like a great investment. i'm sure someone will pop in to post some graphs or articles debunking my post....but oh well, im here to help the ones that do want to become better, and not just follow the sheep.

Great idea man you could totally make a table from the stawk and manifold
You could pull this off but it could take you 3-4 crops, you need to do a scrog(use a net)
4 plants in very large pots(60-100ltr), one each corner, and weave the branches into the net keeping as flat/even as you can.
keep the plants healthy, cut all the shoots off (tops cola's off but keep all the small shoots going) reveg the plants, and repeat, the main stems will become solid, so you need to remove the net (second crop) and the table leg(the main shoot will become thicker over time).
then you can cut the roots off, sand them flat and you have your table.

Correct…. It absorbs 0.5 % but not when you you as a folair spray. 2 ml per gallon @ 5.8 ph and only spray underside of leaves… wipe away any water droplets (water that happens to fall on top surface of leaves) to prevent prisms of water to burn holes in your leaves. I use a very tiny spray bottle makes it way easier …. And any droplets on top I absorb with the corner of paper towel for quick absorption. Do this with lights on when the stomata that are under the leaves are open… in darkness they close and all the growth concentrates to the root zone while the plant releases oxygen. Utilizes all the co2 during light on at night to grow. This silicon gold works phenomenal as a folair vs any other transport. Do not drench, just lightly mist under belly of leaves every 3 days or so. This will allow the best absorption of all your nutrient components. ( preferably organic) no flush needed. And totally stop using 1 week before flower.
