Maintaining PPM with CalMag???

Would it be recommended to maintain PPM with CalMag?

You dont want to maintain ppm. ppm = parts per million in the water = amount of nutes in the water. So you want the ppm to go down, which means they are drinking more nutes than water. if the ppm goes up then they are drinking more water than nutes.

well.... I am gonna have to say no since it is not all the plants needs.... are you in hydro?

Why would you continually add CalMag to adjust your ppm? You are going to get a excessive amount of Calcium and Magnesium sooner or later.

Monitor with a decent ppm meter, mix up a gallon jug of your solution (ratio for a gallon) and just add that in till your ppm gets to you're desired ppm.

Just because the ppm is the same doesn't mean the salts that make up the ppm reading is not or never will be the same mixture. That's why I like to dump and start over in stages in flowering.. typ 3 week chunks.

Also when I "top" off its sometimes with gallon nute solution and sometimes its just ph'd RO water.
