Major issues here

get the exhausts close to the bulb get that heat out

ill put another airflow unit in the room to suck it out

my mum says there crispy and going yellowish becuase of the light they wasnt used to it but the new growth is gerreeen

well today i made some major adjustments here we go and i think these ar doing th best ever, since, i ordered fully rotted clones, i got clones 2 days old, with no roots at all, now 6 days later, the 2 in hydro ponics, 1 had shit loads of roots,as for the other one, today 3 roots are making there way to the water, as for the pots, i notice today, root were everywhere on 3 of the 4,and the 3rd has roots jus not as many, that big plants has masses of root already poking the side of the pot, so in 6 days, there loaded with roots, good going or not so much?, had a sweep up, and added clay pebbles to help keep in some water, i also swapped the intake fan for exhaust now its inside the room near the bulb suckin hot air, and the lil fan is a nice bit of kit, u can selo tape a duct to the back, that leads from the window into the grow room, providing fresh air and c02, it also has a timer settin, it come son low for 30 seconds, the swictehd to medium power, for 1 mins then back to low, the it goes of for 30 seonds then repeats thats what got ti down to 83 F !! amazing, but when i clsoe the room up it goes back to 87-90, but the new additions SHOULDsort that probs out, ill get some pics of the new setup tomoz,

</IMG>have you got a light meter you dont want to be hitting them with less than 500 lumens mine are just over a week old and there getting 1000 lumen from my 400 watt mh lamp with a 80*f temp with lamp on & 76*f off. my grow space is not as large as yours and is painted flat white i also check moisture with meter and ph of witch i like to keep at 5.5 to 6 there is a cheep 3 in 1 meter sold at Tramex Moisture Meter - Best Prices buy online for Tramex Moisture Meters its not super accurate but its better than nothing happy growing

today, the temp was fixed at 84 all day, i lowered the light 10 inches, and its not even no where near hot, ill see how it goes, i hope the extra light will boost growth

wat will happen, i told my friend he ahs to soak rock wool in ph'd water but hes jus wont listen and has put it in anyway, wats gonan happen, im jus glad he onlhy took 2 for hydro coz i can see them dieing

they should be ok but when you start to add nuets the ph can change a lot so i always cheak the ph & add up or down to keep it stable

hmm ok not to worry too much, i jus didnt like the idea of puttin brand new rockwool cubes int he solution seen i know ur supposed to soak and he knew that also but sitll did it, im jus glad i see to the soil plants, u see differende in growth out of the 2, soil is much better

hydro is good if you know what your doing i stick with soil as it is only personal not commercial [SIZE=+0]grow the hydro ph will probably be very high so you need to ad some vinegar but with out ph meter it is risky the plants will suffer and grow slowly you also need to let tap water stand before giving it to your plants as it contains cloreen whitch the plants hate it will naturaly evaperate and i always water with the lights off as water on the leves will cause them to burn under the intense light [/SIZE]

i ahve ph down, ph meter i have all the bits and bobs matey i onlt get ph down seen my water is hard

yea i prefer to go soil it tatse better and easier to manage hydro i have no idea, the way my mate has it set up is he leaves the water in that pot, it has a water pump circulating water along with air bubbler and thats it and sits the roots in there and tops it up every day :S is this right

iv never done hydro my mate dose and he pumps pure o2 in to the water f**k they grow super fast so i dont really know
stick with soil i say and smoke some nice bud
