Making an Auto

ok i have an idea on making my mates tangilope into an auto as it tastes so good (sadly slow grower)

my plan is this

take a clone of his plant and put SnowStorm #2 pollen on her. now my problem is that im using CS to make my fem snowstorm #2 give me pollen which means i wont get a male as they will all be fems which mean Ill have to use CS to get pollen every time.

so i was thinking of doing something like this

T x S#2

T x F1 select the ones that auto and make them into the F2

T x F2 select the ones that auto and show characteristics of T

T x F3 Select the ones that auto and show characteristics of T

T x F4 Select the ones that auto and show characteristics of T

F5 will I now have stable strain thats 100% auto and will have the characteristics of the tangilope or am i just dreaming?

once the strain begins to autoflower (f3) how would you get enough plants with the right phenotype to be CS'd in time before they finished flowering? unless you somehow knew before they flowered or had access to a micro propogation lab ( or kitchen)
so how do you predict phenotype without having to waste so much colloidial silver?

and aside from that, NO autoflowering is recessive so if you keep backcrossing to T you may get the odd auto to pop up but 99.99% will be regular photoperiod responsive plants because the dominance of that particular gene

does that make sense? sorry im high.

in my head what i was going to do was once a plant starts to flower under 18+ light use CS on the main cola and then leave the other side branches untuched and then smoke them to see if its going in the direction i wanted and then use the seeds from the main cola and if its not what i wanted just bin the seeds..

Would i need to do something like this then

T x S#2

F1 x S#2 select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F2 x T select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F3 x T select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F4 x S#2 select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F5 x T select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F6 x S#2 select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F7 x T select auto that have fastest flower time show characteristics of T and CS them

F8 will I now have stable strain thats 100% auto or will i still be way off?

My main goal is to keep the flavor from the tangilope and then have a faster flower from seeds something like 65days which is why im wanting to make it an auto and ive had alot of SnowStorm #2 and like it which is why ive picked it as its already got some of the flavor thats in the tangilope strain im getting a clone from the yield is not a biggy for me aslong as it give around 28g a plant of nice bud ill be happy.

Thanks for the help bf80255

so is my second idea better do you think?
not a problem, names mag bro :)
i would suggest just making the cross and thendoing full sib crosses from then on till you get autos in the f3 then produce seed from them (f4) and see how close it isto the tangi if its not thenbackcross again and start over. otherwise it wontgo auto.
