Male or female? + Does size realy matter?

I started this plant outside late this spring. Thats before I found this message board. I thought you needed to grow a plant all spring and summer and let it flower in the fall. Needless to say the plant is a monster and I now will like to put it under a 400w HPS on a 12/12

I have built a room 4x4 and 8 foot tall and now just need to wait till I can cool and vent the room. $$$
I am going to run a 6 inch ac line from a unused washroom and also vent the heat and smell into the attic.

I read here in many post that a plant can double or triple in size in flowering mode. that would suck cause this plant is almost 4 feet tall.

The real bad news is I might not be able to make the room ready for another few weeks.

Tie her up. Look in the growfaqs under LST or something. Bend, tie, get creative.

That plant looks awesome. LST is definately the way to go.

So do you think its female?

Its kind of hard to tell from the pics. But it looks male.

force a branch to flower to check? see growfaq although with one plant u might as well do the whole thing before spending anymore time with growroom?

im gonna have to agree in the first pic looks male. the red circled spots look like male flowers but its hard to tell.

I hate to say it mambokabui but on a second look i would say it is male. So i think there is no reason to transplant. I feel for you, but its better to just kill it and start a new grow indoors under that light. But maybe im wrong so get a little more input first. Maybe another pic or wait a few more days.

Nah wait till u put into flower and then judge. Dont throw it away just yet. To much time and effort down then drain to go on a hunch. I dont know what these ppl are going by.

I agree alot of time so dont rush, but i was going by the set of balls it apears to be growing in the first pic and the circled pics supplied by tok3s.

im going to go against you,s and saying female looks like buds starting to form naturaly from long vegging at the ends of the branches
were tokes has circled it looks a bit dodgy but that could be female signs just as easy
would be a waste if that turns male or hermie its a nice looking plant goodluck

ok everyone is just guessing....give it a few more days. Its not like pollen is just dropped overnight. Wait until you know for sure before killing it off.

Start the seeds today, you'll be happy you did it tomorrow. The sooner you start them the sooner you will harvest.

Thanx for all the input I will wait it out and see.
I got 10 other plants that I started indoors. so if this one is male I wont feel all that bad.

grow it for seed if it is u only have one

P.S If you can see what your second circle is you have a real good eye.

those 'male flowers' look more like new shoots to be honest.
