Male or female?

Needing help this is my green crack sativa is well over 8 weeks old and not showing much male or female and I need help figuring it out please bc I have a female that's beautiful and I don't want it ruined by a male. So please help me figure this out

It's not showing either way. But don't worry about it ruining the female if it is male. If it turns out to be a male you'll have plenty of time to deal with it before it can pollinate any females you have that are flowering.

Thank you! With it being well over 8 weeks how come it hasn't showed. My gelato showed she was a female basically at the six week marker.

Is it an auto or photo plant? when did you switch the light cycle if it’s a photo?

Photo and I flipped em Dec 13th to 12/12 from a 24/0

Then it’s simply not mature enough to show sex. All plants show at different rates.

By 8 weeks most plants show in pre-flowers what they are. If your waiting for actual pollen sacs or flowers to know one way or the other, it takes longer for those to fully form/ show. I bet if you took a good close up of the preflowers, someone could tell you a good educated guess (preflower sexing isnt always exact, they always look the same)

If it’s taking this long to show I’m going to lean towards it being female. Generally speaking males show earlier than females.

Not always just give it time. Getting in a hurry is the new growers enemy

Showed male not female lol. I thought atleast by now the 26th is the two week marker into flowering. This my first grow and super excited t just be able to see a male t know what exactly t look for. My gelato had no problem showing her beautiful gender. And i have two papaya punch that I can post pictures of too that are a month long kinda showing but my green crack ugh. But I've heard sativa's take their sweet time.

Thank you it really is the enemy I want to be in the tent all the time.
