Merely pointing out the hypocrisy in your post. You have a choice NOT to go to these clubs and get meds. I guess the question is this......WHY did you end up going to a club in the first place? And if dispensaries are illegal in this state AND nation, WHY did you go to one.....????? I just find it funny, that's all. I think trolling is a bit different from disagreeing with you.
And for the other people that have responded to my comment.......I AGREE that many of the dispensaries are being run by people that do not know very much. I worked at a dispensary. I got fed up with how unprofessional the owner was, and he had no idea how to run a business. He also was a rookie in terms of today's marijuana....he made a lot of bad decisions on growers to go with, and what quality to accept or not accept.
Now, that being said, I do not think that ALL the dispensaries are run in a terrible way, I do know that the one I worked at had a lot of room for improvement, and he was not interested in listening to experience, unfortunately.

Those prices aren't bad, we pay $15 a gram here, $20 at some places. But the way that place does buisness sounds crazy!...fuckin playing cards...lol..and "donation" instead of "payment'..lol...they don't do it that way in my area ( lower Mi. )...at least we get to pick our smoke and watch it get weighed...but I still hate buying it when I have a fuckin grow room at home...I had to shut down for a few and ended up running out B4 harvest, so I've been stuck giving them my money too, but I plan to get it back buy selling them my overage and clones.

out of weed and jonesing bad, i went to a dispensary today. its weird there, man. i hate giving them my money to begin with, but i grit my teeth, curse, and do it anyways in extreme cases. one thing i REALLY hate is dispensary lingo... the "donations" and "wellness center" and the "we arent a dispensary, we are a lounge" thing. in the state im in, medical marijuana is legal, but these dispensaries that are cropping up are not. so anyways i GO TO BUY SOME POT (had to throw that in there) and i cant even give the person with the buds the money. before i get my buds, i have to go to another room and give someone my "donation" and then they give me a playing card to take to the room with the buds. weird shit, huh? but check this out... theres little bowls of bud and you put the playing card in front of the bowl that you want and THEN the lady just busts out a jar and gives you whatever. NO WEIGH OUT. the buds are super good... better than what i grow, im not gonna front, but i just dont think its worth it. and the prices... get out of here. i only got 5.5 grams for 50 bucks plus a $5 charge to get in the club. see, thats part of the bullshit here. they charge you just to get in the door. im really bummed about this because i have about a month before i have any buds of my own to smoke.
whats funny, though.. is when i was giving the dude my money and getting my playing card, i kept stressing the word "BUY". he hated that shit, and almost kicked me out. oh well... might as well get something for my $5 door charge.
This sounds like the worst dispensary ever. You should let us know which one it was so we can all avoid it

oh you definitely have a selection at most places. usually theres like 30 jars filled with pot and you can ask to see whatever. i dont like that they can call the strains whatever they want, and NEVER provide info on how it was grown.

some of the better dispensaries in socal atleast.. provide you with thc and chemical testing results .. also they wont accept vendors without testing their meds for potency and pesticides .... of course all of this comes with a price.. and you would be paying more then 55 bucks for 5.5grams.

what the fuck are you complaining about.. i pay more than than for fucking land race jamaican and st.vincent brick weed and there's a 'drought' in my country atm, be fucking grateful you spoiled ass brat..so what if they say 'donate' and what not, 'medical marijuana ' is just a fancy term for getting baked legally. what i call shwag you guys put in a fucking compost pile..ya dig?

Not every dispensary in Los Angeles give you correct test numbers and most don't test for pestisides either.
I can tell you this because a month ago a best friend and I went into a dispensary in N.Hollywood to vend
and the owner had a empty jar labeled Grape Ape that he apparently ran out of and the owner picked up some
Purple Flo from my friend and I and then he threw some of the Flo into the Grape Ape jar and said "who will know the difference"
and laughed. Another owner at another dispensary in N.Hollywood told us they could care less if the pot is organic. He also
said most dispensary owners feel the same way.
This is the very truth and gives me and all my friends that surround me a very good look at the way most dispensaries are in L.A. are run.
Has your local dispensary ever tell you about grit weed and do they look for it or is it that they really don't care.
Grit weed is something I read about in 420times with the front cover reading "How Safe Are Your Meds?
420times reported that some dispensary owners willingly and some oblivious to the fact that they receive Grit weed which contains
glass shavings, silicon shavings, sand and sugar not simultaneously but singularly all to way down the pot for bigger profits.
Sad but true. The fact is, you can never tell if a dispensary owner is telling you the truth about there meds. You have know idea
who grew the bud they get and how it was grown and what went into it unless you see the grow for yourself.
Anyone's best bet is to get there pot from their own grow or from a trusting friend in the black market.then you know exactly what your getting.
Remember all those different types of good pot you got from your friend(s) before the dispensaries? Well it's still there and available. No second guessing. Simple with a piece of mind. Live better.

Milovan.. the key word is SOME. I dont use dispensaries .. I grow my own .. and if not my own I get it from the collective that includes 4 of us that all grow..we exchange between ourselves so none of us have to buy meds. You have to use discretion.. but I have witnessed and know some really good clinics.. they are not all bad.. I know what your talking about and im sure it happens all the time.. Thats why I said "SOME OF THE BETTER DISPENSARIES". I have seen my buddies clinic turn away some of the best looking and smelling Dank ive ever seen .. because it tested positve for pesticides.. or its potency was sub par...use your discretion who you give your "DONATION " too and all these low life dispensaries wouldnt be around .. the ones that are selling junk and dangerous meds.. are having their bills paid by someone.. best way to get rid of em is not to give em your business.. FInd a good one and if its a little pricier who cares.. you get what you pay for.
Ps.. im not familiar with LA dispenaries and have no intention on becoming familiar lol.. I love how the collective im part of runs.. I havent paid for meds in 2 years.. We all just take care of each other..if you get 3-4 good buddies that grow in a medically legal state.. you can more then support each others needs YEAR ROUND with the 6 mature plant limit.

Medical cannabis is not a term for getting legally high. Yes there are those that abuse the system, same as any other system really. Its people that make these generalizations that hurt the medical community and give it a bad image. I'm sure there are plenty more legitimate patients that disagree with the "way to legally get high" theory.

on the contrary... ive been to a lot of these MMJ events, and its 35-55 year old hippies, for the most part. there are very, very few sick people who need marijuana, and thats the truth.
of course its a way to get high and not get bothered by the cops. thats the whole point of getting a card. however, marijuana is not the cure-al that some claim it is. not in the least. it feels good, though.

Nubby I agree that most medical mj patients are not visibly sick.. but how many people are on anti depressants? They appear totally normal... does that mean they shouldnt be able to get mj for depression ? there is lots of things that mj can help with that are not visually apparent. Plus since when is it so bad to just want to enjoy yourself .. pursuit of happiness should not be against the law.. no one cares if i come home and wash my day away with a 12 pack.. if mj helps someone relieve their daily stress.. then .. its medicinal in my eyes.
