I read about mandala #1 on another website, I forget which now and they were well recommended. I actually have mandala#1 on the top of my list when I buy seeds next month. Please let us know how your purchase goes, especially if they rip you off.

I wanted a sativa high but don't have the space to grow a sativa heavy plant which tend to be taller.

According to their website: "Mandala #1 is a good choice if you are aiming for a quick crop with a Sativa effect. We recommend this strain especially for northern climates where harvesting by the end of September is a priority. This strain has two basic phenotypes (characteristic plant types). Approximately 30% of the plants belong to the Sativa dominant phenotype and grow in a christmas tree shape. The leaf structure is similar to the Indica dominant pheno. Purplish leaf stems and light red stripes along shoots are not uncommon and should not be mistaken for a nutrient deficiency. The young flowering plants have a perfumed woody-herbal fragrance when you rub the stems.* Despite the Sativa dominance the buds are chunky and the plants are easy to grow. The Indica type pheno is apparent through it's squater growth, thick main stem, and larger leaves. Branches are shorter, growing upwards close to the plant (perfect for SOG). The side shoots towards the top are also short and give the head buds a more compact structure. This pheno tends to develop a sweet-spicy smell during early flowering. Mandala #1 flowers with a spear-shaped head bud of considerable length that makes this a high yielder. Resin output is impressive - also in outdoor grows. The prime head buds are coated with a thick layer of trichomes and glisten brightly in the sun. Some plants develop beautiful dark purple calyxes during mid-flowering: a trait which they inherited from the New Zealand Purple Indica in the paternal line. Harvesting is very simple since the calyx-to-leaf ratio is predominantly high."

Cool. They were profiled in High Times, so that's a good sign. Not just some fly-by-night outfit.

i have mandala #1 seeds but haven't germed them yet, i'v grown mandala's speed queen and white satin all great smoke and easy as hell to grow. i ordered mine from doc. chronic and they arrived in 9 days total from order to the u.s. i haven't grown mand. #1 myself, but i have friends that have grown it and i helped them out a bit (well maybe i have grown it lmao). good racey soaring high, makes you talk politics and religion lol at least thats my experience. next payday i am gonna order there kalichakra and sadhu. from what i have experienced they like low levels of nutes, speed queen barely took any nutes, thats why i love landrace genetics low maintenance, tough plants and they can grow in the worst of climates. good luck with you mandala#1.

Grow ON!

I'm pulling for you, 11. Please let me know if you get them. I am ordering as soon as you confirm you got yours.

Lj, that was some great info there. That's exactly the kind of high I am looking for. We've been smoking primarily indica heavy strains and when that couch-lock hits, we don't want to do shit. I need to look into that speedqueen you talk about too.

Mike from Mandala Seeds is a great guy and it's a great reputable seed company. Reasonably priced pure breeding from land race genetics - make sure you read the FAQ on their website for important information on what the plants like and don't like.

I'm going to be growing out their Satori and/or Kalichakra in my next grow and I'm really looking forward to growing some great genetics.

Good luck with your grow.

Mandala 1 has to be one of the best strains out there right now for the price... down the last word its exactly how they describe it... and potency is not a problem at all! This is some fire str8 up and i smoke alot of medical strains like mk ultra, afghan kush, grandaddy purple, ak 47, og kush, jack the ripper....and Mandala 1 is for sure up there! I would reccomend this strain to anyone who wants that early finisher without loss of quality in bud... I would also reccomend this strain to any guerilla growers out there or if you live in a region of the world where fall sets in a little faster than your plants would like... This bud turns lightweight purple if it drops into the 40's for more than a week. The landrace vigor adds to the yields if you treat them right...shit i bet if you left these bad bitches and never checked them once they would still turn out some delicious dank! I am really excited about M1 as it one of my new favorite strains and for the price man you cant go wrong Thanks for everything Mandala you guys fucking rock! CURE YOUR BUDS BEFORE YOU SAY ANYTHING ABOUT MANDALA STRAINS!

mandala is amazing, i order from tude for the fast shipping but im sure they do a good job on their official site.
my point of no return all germed and the seedlings are looking very strong, so far so good. the #1 i have only heard good things about too.
i agree with gloomy - this is a genetic that if u dont fully cure, ur missin out. curing really does a numer on the potency - this was true even for my speed queen
