I have a 17 year old white sheppard. I don't have pics of him on the laptop but I'll put the up tomorrow. He can still jump into the bed of a truck. That's good enough for me. At 12 he could hang with all the dogs for 10 min. Then he gets tuckered out and pulls up next to me. The next day he doesn't move. But he can bonze hard for an old guy.

At 15 years old here in SD he pinned an 8mo old coyote in my drive way in the day light.

He's slowing down but he's still the shit.

When he's shaved in the summer everyone thinks he's 7. I'll miss him when he goes but for a 32 year old guy I've never taken care of something for so long.

When I see someone that's fucked up in the head I think "he needs a good dog."

Edit. Just put up pics. Bogy is my Sheppard and Nadia is my boxer. Nadia died about three years ago to cancer. This shot was near her final days. She new it too. Still miss her. When Bogy goes it will be the end of an era for everyone around me. These dogs have been a part of us since I was a teenager.

For 17 Bogy is a straight up stud. I have a vile with his hair in it. When science catches up I'm gonna clone him. I trim up dogs better than anyone I've ever hired...

Here's my two Rat Terriers, Pooka and Tater Tot. They may not have big teeth, but nothing alive is getting up to my house without me knowing, and I always have my bow. Scary, aren't they... :mrgreen:
