Many thirps in day 40 of flower

Spinosad soap worked well for me on thrips. Unfortunately, the thrips transmitted powdery mildew which led to an early demise of that crop.

You may want to try mosquito netting around your pots, at least make it harder for them to lay eggs.

I've been using netting for fungus gnats, it definitely helps but so far nothing has worked to kill the gnats (including h202, spinosad soap, and mosquito bits). I can't imagine how much worse it would be without the nets.

I was looking for something to protect from spider mites ... ended up just using diluted rubbing alcohol every day for a while, then just a few times per week. Cloning a plant infested with bugs just prolongs the problem and spreads to different areas in your grow, and to other plants.... A few flowered sub-par but I didn't have to kill the entire lineage.

However, bug-specific screens look like they're worth a shot:

I tried hypoaspis predatory mites ime they're absolutely useless, hypoaspis mites live in the soil thrips live on the plants for the most part.... You see the problem.
This is why you get cucumeris, they come in bags that hang on the plant. They work 100% guaranteed.

The Pot Poppers are watered in, are are then inside your plant. When the bugs suck on the plant they ingest them, then the worms eat from the inside out and explode.

That's really handy to know, the thought of thrips again scares me because they're such a cunt to get rid of.

Thank you.

I got some 175 micron mesh and made some filters for the inlets, I'd feel vulnerable without them.

The only pests I've had trouble with arrived on clones.

Good idea! Next setup (this spring), I'll go without tents but may just wrap shelves with panda paper and double-sided velcro to open/close. I was thinking of netting entire seedling/clone areas. Bugs will drive you nuts.

You can completely eliminate fungus gnats from the top by using play sand. An inch or two layer on top will do it. I see you have air pots so the holes could be a problem. Maybe tape up the bottom half.
