Why are the Trumpers going nuts over this in particular, considering everything else Trump has done? They instinctively know that this particular thing can take Trump down quickly and are freaking out. They are nothing without Trump and while he divides the nation and the republican party, he unites his base however, because they know he is one of the very few who could give them what they want, minority rule, the end of the rule of law and constitution.

Putting Donald in a prison cell would be torture and denying him TV would be extreme torture. The whining would be deafening! They say the average person who did this kind of crime would face psychological torture, bright lights and unpleasant music played at high volume, not something likely to happen to Donald.

Torture is inflicting suffering, physical or psychological pain, it happens everyday in America, as cops light up suspects with tasers to torture or get them to comply, without getting their hands dirty. I'm not advocating torture, but torture is sometimes a subjective thing, for Trump it would be fetching his own diet coke, or having someone talk back to him and publicly humiliate him. Denying someone a smoke or a drug they are addicted to while they are in jail is torment too.
I think just stopping his makeup and hair people will be enough to make old fried scrotum face cry.

Trump says ‘temperature has to be brought down’ after Mar-a-Lago search
Former President Trump said on Monday that his aides reached out to the Department of Justice (DOJ) to offer “whatever we can do to help,” saying the “temperature has to be brought down” after a spike in threats to law enforcement following the FBI’s search of his Mar-a-Lago estate.

“People are so angry at what is taking place,” Trump told Fox News.

“Whatever we can do to help — because the temperature has to be brought down in the country,” he added. “If it isn’t, terrible things are going to happen.”

The FBI executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago one week ago in connection with its investigation into whether Trump violated the Espionage Act and other federal statutes. Agents allegedly seized 11 sets of classified documents from the estate, although Trump has claimed he declassified the material.

The search has set off waves of criticisms of the FBI and DOJ from Trump and his allies, who argue the investigation is politically motivated. Some have called to defund the agency.

A new intelligence bulletin reportedly warned of a spike in threats to federal law enforcement following the Mar-a-Lago search, referencing an incident on Thursday at the FBI’s Cincinnati field office in which an armed man allegedly tried to breach the building.

Trump the statesman.

Fox’s Doocy: ‘It would be great’ if Trump called for end to threats against feds
Fox News host Steve Doocy implored former President Trump to publicly call on his supporters to “tamp down the rhetoric” against federal law enforcement amid a flurry of threats to agents and officers in the wake of search warrant at Mar-a-Lago last week.

“We just know there are a lot of very specific threats against very specific agents at the FBI and what not,” Doocy said. “It would be great if everybody would tamp down the rhetoric against the FBI because the FBI was simply doing what the DOJ asked them to do.”

Not long after Doocy’s remarks, Trump did put out a statement saying the temperature “has to be brought down” after the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago search.

The FBI and Department of Justice have expressed alarm at the possibility of attacks on law enforcement given the furor over the search. A man in Cincinnati was shot and killed after an attempted breach of an FBI office.

“With all of these threats going around it would ultimately be great if the former president, who has always been a great supporter of law enforcement, it would be great if he called for an end to the violent rhetoric against federal law enforcement,” Doocy said.

Trump is known as a regular watcher of Fox News and Fox & Friends, the network’s morning show, in particular.

Doocy echoed this sentiment, saying the FBI agents who executed the search at Mar-a-Lago “were just doing their job.”

“But … for you to look at this situation and think that Democrats and Republicans have been treated the same over the last few years, you’d have to be looking at a different situation,” co-host Brian Kilmeade chimed in.

“No one is for the violence of FBI agents or any of these individuals,” Ainsely Earnhardt, the show’s third co-host added.

Doocy suggested critics of the DOJ should instead focus their anger on Garland himself.

“Garland is the one who has staked his entire reputation on it,” he said. “If there’s not something really big there, he is done.”

Bolton: Trump explanations on classified documents show ‘real level of desperation’

Former national security adviser John Bolton said in a new interview that former President Trump’s defense after the FBI allegedly found classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate “shows a real level of desperation.”
“When somebody begins to concoct lies like this, it shows a real level of desperation,” Bolton, who was appointed by Trump, told The New York Times.

The now-unsealed search warrant and property receipt indicate the FBI seized 11 sets of classified documents from the Florida estate, including one set labeled as “various classified/TS/SCI documents,” meaning top secret/sensitive compartmentalized information that is required to be viewed in secure facilities.

Trump has said he unilaterally declassified the documents using his presidential authority. Other Trump officials have publicly said the former president had a standing order that any documents taken from the Oval Office to the residence were immediately declassified.
However, Bolton told the Times he had never been told of such an order during his time in the White House or afterwards.

“I was never briefed on any such order, procedure, policy when I came in,” Bolton said.

“If he were to say something like that, you would have to memorialize that, so that people would know it existed,” Bolton added.
Authorities said the FBI’s search, which has attracted significant scrutiny and criticism from Trump and his allies, was in connection with its investigation into whether Trump violated the Espionage Act, unlawfully concealed or removed public records or obstructed an investigation.

Bolton told the Times that officials had set up secure facilities at Mar-a-Lago and a property in Bedminster, N.J., both of which Trump regularly visited while president, to view sensitive material, meaning the documents could be viewed while remaining classified.

I know of more than a few educated and sane people who voted for him in 2016.

Watching that clip from the debate and seeing Hillary’s performance vs the moron’s performance, it’s still surprising to me that she lost.
i have to disagree...people who are sane in most situations can be completely insane about certain subjects...as to trumpism, i know a woman who has always liked me, shes about 80, and she was friends with my grandmother. i used to go help her put up her storm windows, i cut up a big limb that fell in her yard during a wind storm, and she would make me cookies and crap like that...
she is religious,(her and my grandma went to the same church forever) but never pushed it, she was always nice, asked about the family, told me about her "very eligible granddaughters"...
about two years ago i drove by, and saw a trump-pence sign in her yard. i stopped and asked her if she knew it was there. she told me she had put it there herself. we had a short discussion, mostly me asking her why...and now i'm not welcome at her house anymore, because i questioned dear leader...she went so far as to tell me she was relieved i never dated her granddaughters, she never knew i was socialist, she didn't know how a good woman like my grandmother could have a communist grand son....
she was never a genius, but she wasn't a mouth breathing redneck moron either...
