Yes the dare shirt is a classic in the smoking community. Everyone I've ever seen wearing one out and about is doing so for the irony, they do some kind of drug.

All the talk of how much stronger the weed is these days was also sort of funny, but sad at the same time too, that misconception will just never die will it?

The funniest to me was that the girl doing the show had obviously never even tried pot and was completely clueless.

Anyone else notice that Marc Emery is doing crystal meth? I know a tweeker when I see one, they're all over around Oregon.

It was an interesting show. They should have made it a two hour special, in my opinion. I think they gave Mr. Emory WAY too much air time. I would have liked it if they hadn't spent so much air time on him, and given more air time to the Israelis who are doing the mj research despite U.S. objections. I had really hoped to see more, and better, reporting on the medical aspect of things. Mr. Emory just reeks of "stoner", and yeah, he seemed to be jetting to me.

The woman with cancer looked really, REALLY good. Her skin was warm and healthy looking, her eyes were bright and clear, her gums looked healthy and pink. A stool sample and blood work would round out the picture nicely.

More time in/on Oaksterdam would have been nice, especially interviewing other businesses in the area.

But, mostly, I wanted to hear more about the science.

Oh! Oh! Did anyone else catch the DEA guy who was talking about weed that's got THC content in the 20s?? WHERE?? I've been under the impression that if you're in the teens (percentage-wise) that you're holding onto some fairly dank stuff. Then again, maybe I'm just totally out of the loop.

i would have to say some of the primo stuff is in the los 20's.. maybe 20-25% thc.. most times it is something home grown or something that doesnt get handled too much. just think, if you buy a bag, the buds like never have trichomes on the outside because they are handled so much.. too bad there isn't an easy way to test the content of your buds hehe.. i have seen some sites with white rhino listed as 20% + thc. aurora indica is another one.. all depends on the strain/breeder i guess. i would really like to see the apparent uk stuff that is supposed to be even more potent lol.. in reality though, i am sure the majority of the stuff the DEA gets is around 10-15%. they always exaggerate their numbers.
all in all good special.. i really liked that 1.57 mil operation they toured.. man those were some big ass trees for supplying 3 medical users lol.. i read in cannabis culture the guy puts out 40-50 lbs every 2 weeks.. that is effin sick lol..

I dont think they showed to much marc emery. The show had alot to do with him, and believe it or not, the reason that weed has come so far in many places and ways is because of him. Before marc emery, marijuana literature was illegal in canada. He was the one around the early 90's that changed alot of it for canada, and his seed bank was one of the first and the first to ship everywhere! More people should read cannabis culture. I'm surprised more people on here dont.

I have tremendous respect for Emery and I am appreciative of his tremendous work, but I'm sorry, I can't stand to listen to the guy for more than 10 minutes.
