The pitchforks will be coming......Once the uneducated become aware of how they are losing out vs. Big Business profits and the increasing control of Big Business over the Fed.

Then again it's been "written on the wall" for years.

Never was a fan of Reagan but, he did remove all the loopholes from the tax's for Big Business. All that was overturned in less then the first 2 years of HW......

As long as business has congress, and now the president, in it's pocket. "Fair wages" are not going to happen.

How does a corporation, that dbls it's profit from 300 million a year, for the next 3 years in a row. Actually get away with telling it's employee's that they can't afford to provide even a cost of living increase?

The uneducated, simple minded majority of the workforce, signed off on a new contract by the corporation adding another $500 to the signing bonus! How does $500 now, trump over 2K in a year? Not to mention over the years of the new contact?

$40+ dollars a week doesn't look like much but, why can't people do the math? There are things you can do with that amount (and have more left over) that increase that simple amount to real deal life time returns!

I always send in at least $50 a month more to my mortgage. Principle only payment! Why? Because that 50 bucks, over the course of the 30 year note. Reduce's the total cost by over $80,000 dollars and shortens the length of the loan by 8 years!

This doesn't even include investing returns..... Sell out for $500 now? Stupid as all hell!

The lack of ability for many "everyday american's" to see truth. Is sadly lacking!

Listen to this guy too! @ttystikk Bet you saw this one too!

Nick Hanauer TED talk "Beware fellow plutocrats, the pitchforks are coming."

Trump = unrepenting narcissistic asshole.
I saw Nick's TED talk years ago, and he's as right today as he was then.

NeoCons and NeoLibs have the same ideas about the economy, and unfortunately it's all bad news for the middle class. It's taken a long time for them to wake up to how badly they're being fucked.

Reagan did the middle class no favors at all. It was under his watch that American wages stopped rising in step with productivity gains.

There IS a 'secret' right wing organization dedicated to the subjugation of the 99% to the super rich.

Now that it's no longer a secret and the Chump administration has put to rest any notions of the super rich's special qualifications to govern, it's time for the Progressive Movement to step up and push this country back from the brink of malignant nationalism to the world while enforcing a policy of viciously destructive economic austerity at home.

Don't forget he sales pitch.

"Just as he helped to write a constitution for the super-rich to control the 99%, so too could we have a constitution for the 99% to control the super-rich."

Otherwise it's just the Super-rich that makes deals with the rest of the world.
Commerce/Corps have no Loyalty to any Nation.

That's the sales pitch but unless the middle class gets involved in the process, the super rich will continue running headlong into building the very aristocracy our forefathers worked so hard to get away from.

As such, James Buchanan is the very antithesis of everything America was founded upon.

Reposted here, for economic value;
So this is fun and all, but back to corporate salaries for a minute;

I propose a flat tax; 50% on everyone, on all forms of income. First $50,000 exempt. Corporate taxes the same.

All deductions get ceilings, so for example the home mortgage interest deduction would cover the first $500,000 of the loan. After that, Mr moneybags; it's your mansion, you pay for it. That still amounts to a 50% deduction on a million dollar home mortgage.

All contributions get ceilings- and ask forms of income contribute.Another example; no more ceiling on Social Security contributions- and investment income can pay, too.

Finally, no trusts or foundations maypay intergenerational dividends in order to circumvent the estate tax. You die, your estate pays 50% tax. Inthis case, the first $5 million is exempt.

That would solve our country's deficit problems, right now. And I don't want to hear any more bullshit about how lower corporate taxes stimulates the economy; if that were true, then why does our economy suck for the average American? It's only had 40 fuckin' years to work!

And oh yeah, those multi-million dollar corporate salaries can finally contribute something useful to the rest of us, for a change.

It's a start.

But as long as Author Daniels Midland (and the likes) believes it doesn't have a hand in people shitting in the street, or drinking tainted water, let them try to set up shop in China with the same play book. There's a reason WalMart employees in China are ordered to be in a Union.

Wall Street hits all time high as the American Standard of Living hits an all time low.

Exactly. The MOP have captured the government and captured their regulatory structure so completely that the government no longer considers it their duty to protect and improve the quality of life of American citizens, but rather to maximize corporate profits.

Archer Daniels Midland can now claim it merely works to 'protect shareholder value' when it treats our country like something to parasitize rather than build for the benefit of all. Every other major corporation now behaves the same way.

Most of the stuff you post here I find both valuable information and interesting to read about. I don't find it surprising your critics wouldn't. What I do find surprising is that they never actually criticize the content of any of your posts, only your frequency or something about you personally...

(to be clear, I don't actually find that surprising.. That's their main and only shtick)

Keep up the great work!

So you found it interesting and informative when I gave this lesson weeks ago and included source links from the designer of the system? Or did you just ignore it since you personally dislike me then come and praise shytstikk for mindlessly spamming links he barely grasps just because you personally like him?

I ask you a germain question that follows from your comment. I will say however that I don't like you. You are a chickenshit racist who tries too hard to seem like you passed philosophy 101(introduction to logic) when it is quite clear that you are a terrible student yet feel like a victim because you don't qualify for affirmative action bennies.

Nothing you say holds value or merit

It's all empty backed up by 11 years of content. Say I'm a racist all you want, the proof is in the posts I've contributed that you can't change. The Neoliberal policies the politicians you support are objectively detrimental to minorities and women. The progressive policies I support are objectively beneficial to minorities and women. You support the status quo, I support the feminist and minority position.
