Greetings,

Recently I decided to convert my Mars II 1200, which pulls around 520w give or take.

So what I did was replace the drivers with 2 Meanwell 2.1A Drivers running Vero 29 Gen 7 at 3000k CCT.

Will be running it in a 3 x 3.

As for reflectors I tried them, BUT it gave some serious dark spots on the outer edges so I removed them and I am much more impressed with the coverage in this small space.

I am pulling about 480W of COB which is around 505 or so total with driver.
My PPFD is around 966PPFD with about 20 PAR Watss a SQ/F.

This will be much better for my plants as I can actually see the damm things and diagnose issues if any.

Here are some pictures below ( sorry for the shit quality, waiting for a new battery when the Wife gets home).
Color is a bit off, they are a bit warmer but no where near as orange as a HPS.
Will upload some higher quality later on.
I did keep 2 original drivers to run the fans.
Also took the glass off for obvious reasons.

Any questions just ask.

Nice job man! Now you'll get results from the chunk of aluminum some call mars.
Your ppfd should be killer.....you think about adding CO2?

I had good results with it.
Better than my HPS, however it was overpriced, but I had no idea at the time.
PPFD is killer!
I plan to add C02 for sure.

Mars seems to put an unnecessary amount of Thermal paste, I got like a 1/3 Cup of it...

Will be putting up a journal from seed to harvest to compare my findings regarding growth(running coco, auto irrigation)

Thansk for checking it out. Thought it was a good idea, plus I hated the blurple color, was annoying.
I can say for sure the light intensity is much higher. I dont want to look at this light, blinding.

That light is a BEAST. Those stock fans keep it cool enough?
The stock fans are garbage...
Waiting on Noctua fans. One is already blown( not sure how long its been that way).
yeah its a BEAST for sure. Will be nice to grow with it.
