Mars Hydro II 1600 LED Full Spectrum Mystery Seed Grow

Wow wow wow such a nice grow! Frosty, great structure wow

Thanks bro. Learned everything from forums like this and YouTube! I do like the Mars Hydro II 1600. A similar high end led would cost at least 3x this one .

Flushing, trimmed off some dying fan leaves. Getting ready to harvest in about another 3-5 days . Under the scope, the trichromes are mostly still clear, but few are turning milky. Gonna keep an eye on it.

Decent light for the price, but doesn't seem all that efficient. 700+ watts should give you a huge amount of weed. If you're trying to save electricity you might as well get two 315w CDMs, the plants love white light.

Are you going to fill the grow area with clones at some point? A SOG type of grow?

Main things I learned on my first grow...

1. Summers here in so cal can get hot. For about 2 weeks, Temps in the flower tent were between 88-92F. Plants didn't show signs of heat stress at all but I'm wondering if that hurt my final yield. Gotta control the temp in my tents...

2. Whether in 1 or 3 gallon smart pots, when using coco coir (depending on temps) , you need to water at least every other day, period.

3. Too much internode spacing. I'm thinking either too big of a variance in night /day Temps or I had lighting distance from canopy too far during first 2 weeks of flower. Had em at 24"not knowing how strong or weak the Mars Hydro II 1600 was. Learned tht at 12-14",optimal...

4. Have a cheap spare ph and ec meter on hand...

5. A 4" carbon filter and exhaust fan won't cut it with 4-6 plants in a 4x4grow tent. Smell escapes... I'm upgrading to a 6"...

Wats up, yea. I was just experimenting and learning with that plant. I've got some Heavyweight Fruit Punch in my veg tent rt now... I'm gonna mainline all 5 plants

I was lucky, went 5/5 on germination.

I cut down the mainlined plant Monday and the two others I had. They're in my dry tent. My Temps r stable between 75-78, rh 55%. R the Temps too high? Also, I trimmed off most of the larger fan leaves. Should I trim down all leaves now or after they've dried? I plan on drying them for 5-7 days depending on how they feel.... Then curing them in jars

So did you only use one Mars 1600 for one plant? I use 2 Mars II 400's in my tent for 4 ladies, I'm wondering if I should get stronger ones.

I use mainly 1 Mars Hydro II 1600 in my 4x4 tent. I also hve my old Mars 300 I sometimes use to supplement a corner... But the 1600 seems to cover the full 4x4 area . I had 6 plants in there.

Well, how's the coverage in ur flower room? R u happy with ur yields...?
