Hi guys, I’m new here just like to say hello to everyone first. Secondly I would like to know if anyone has any previous experience with mars hydro LED’s, I was thinking of putting two Mars hydro full spectrum 250w led lights above 2-3 Skywalker in 20 gallon pots, the temperature of the room generally sits between 80-85c with rhino 6 inch extractor fan and small desk fan for ventilation ?? What you guys think and any advice ? Or any other alternative would be welcomed . Thanks Delta

20 gallon pots are for big plants. I highly doubt that 2 mars will be enough light for something so big. It would sound more feasible to do 3 skywalkers in 3 gallon pots under the 2 lights. I've never used mars hydro but I am sure you will hear an earful from users who don't think they are very good quality.

I run 4 Mars Hydro TSW-2000 Panels in my 4'x8'x7' tents and they perform extremely well with VERY minimal heat. The rooms ambient temp is ~68 F and the interior of the tent only gets around 76 F max even running the panels 20 hours at a time. They're passively cooled if you get the "COB" or Chip On Board models. The ones without fans!

Any LED panel with a fan is a no go, don't do it. That is a very easy part to wear out and or slow down and then you run into REAL heat problems and potentially even a self destructing light.

I have huge yields and run them 100% brightness @ 24" throughout the entire plants life seed to smoke.

Do it .... just remember with those leds penetration is not very good so you want to trellis them down and keep them under 3 ft .. also cutting the lower branches since after 3ft bellow the light the buds will be airy .. also 20 gallons sounds too excessive.
throw up a pic.

Cheezy is right, they won’t penetrate very well (if you are talking about the blurples). I used them for a year, they’ll make frosty buds, but my biggest issue was the fact that there wasn’t very much bud density. They will make hard buds but there’s just no weight. Best way I can describe it is like this- You know how a ping pong ball and a golf ball are roughly the same size, but a lot different in weight right, well the blurples make Ping Pong buds.
Upgrade as soon as you can. I did.

Opie what would you suggest for 2-3 plant closet room setup - 3 x 5 x 6 W L H. I already have 4 under 600w hps in a 5 x 5 x 7 tent which are sky walker, we have an abundance of these cuttings at the minute, the idea of this room after will be to produce a few different strains in there at a time. Thanks Delta9

The blurple lights aren't going to be as effective as the COB 30mm LED lights. Just make sure you're getting a full spectrum 30mm LED square node light. I've had epic yields and frost from Mars Hydro TSW-2000 panels.
