I am needing another light for flower. I will be flowering in a 4x4 area and I can't decide if I should go with mars hydro or if I should go with growers choice. I already have a grower Choice roi-e420 and must say I am impressed with the light. Any insight or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Lol people always hate on Mars.

I havent had bad results - on my 4th grow now and bought a Kingbrite Samsung LM301H board recently. Will grow them side by side in different tents and see if it was my previous methods of growing or in actual fact the TSW2000.

Lots of people (not all) hating on brands but they havent even done more than 5 grows. Tonnes of inputs to good cannabis

Neighbor has 2 GC and their smart controller. Humidity sensor went wack. He called customer service. The woman apologized and they sent 2 replacements.

I'm running a big Phlizon so I ain't brand ragging on anyone. I get very good results and I'm happy with it so far.

I have a Mars Hydro TSW2000 and TSW3000 in my room and they seem to be doing alright here in Week 5. I was running a SunSystems DE1000 HPS light before and I don’t see any loss of size or excessive stretch/stunted growth with the Mars Hydro.

Most full spectrum LEDs are going to be fine nowadays. I grow for my mom’s condition to help her eat and sleep, but also because I like the hobby and the reward at the end. If you’re not trying to eek out every last 1/32 of a gram for world record competitive buds, you’ll be fine saving a few bucks and getting the Mars light.

Just train the plants right, keep up on good nutrition, keep temp and RH good, and make sure you have good air movement and you’ll be fine.

Honestly its all just prefference nowadays. Started with a 8 year old light this year which grew monsters over the years, found out theres a few busted lights which resulted to early flowering, change to HLG Scorpion Diablo and added Geekbeast 720w. Both does its job while the other cost more its easier to dial in if you have to factor heat with less result of faulure with over/under watering, humidity, room temp, fans, exhaust, canopy height and all. I have average 90f temp with HLG 70-80% power gives out 95% grow room temp with inline exhaust and a fan for my flowering. Geekbeast is place in a coller room for seedlings and vegetation with 30-40% with inside/outside exhaust, a fan and a/c 6hours before shutdown. So the thing is its almost 2022 growing weed is legal compared 6-12 years ago, most known lights can perform

Anyone try to use 4x Mars Hydro TS1000s in a 4x4 area?? Only 600 watts of power and judging by the 12 inch height chart it seems in the 2x2 square you keep a solid intensity and that isn't even taking in to consideration the cross lighting.

I've seen people do that. Very cost effective, and you'll have "quadrants" that you can raise and lower the light as needed. Solid plan. I, personally, would rather have a FC E6500, but your way is technically cheaper.
