I've got a few of the Durban Tropegranate F2s going. Just put them in the flower tent today. I've gotta say these were some of the heftiest beans I've ever seen. 3/3 germed and some incredibly hardy plants. The main stalk is the size of my pinky finger all the way to the top nodes. Here's to hoping for a few girls. Also I have a pack of the Black Pom. F2s and a pack of the Sundog OG in the vault waiting for the next round.

They very well might not be bred for indoor, however I'm committed at this point and outdoor isn't really an option. I'll keep this thread updated as I go. If anyone else has any info on these guys feel free to contribute.

True. I would get some kelp from greenleaf nutrients and keep that girl sprayed down to keep her in control. Topped and trained as well

Quick update. Looks like my triplets are all girls. All 3 threw female preflowers today. Looks like I have two different phenos. So far one is more squat and bushy, and the other 2 seem to be a little taller and lankier. I'll be back in a week or so with another update.

Right? I scoured the googles for many hours and came up with nothing. The IG posts looked nice and the genetics sounded interesting so I decided to take a chance. So far so good.

Quick update. It appears I actually have 3 different phenos. One girl is tall and lanky and shooting out trichs already, plus she's a hungry girl wanting more food and drinking faster than the other 2. The second girl is a tall and lanky one as well but it's already showing purple forming in the baby budlets, not as much frost but about the same stretch and lankiness, but we arent as hungry as number one. Number 3 seems to be a shorter more bushy girl, same as number 2 she doesn't want as much food.

Update time. Durban Tropegranate #1 is filling out nicely and has the most bud development so far, also we are getting a nice layer of frost going on. We are a heavier eater than the other girls so I'm going to start mixing up separate food concentrations. We have a nice piney aroma, reminds me of Dutch TreatPXL_20210703_162022170.jpg

#2 is still chugging along but it seems the PNW heatwave killed the purple hues I was getting early on, like #1 we are starting to really pack on the trichs. Smells like some sort of lemon-pineapple candy goodness.PXL_20210703_161913830.jpg

Number 3 is the smallest one of the bunch, nice short bushy structure. Not quite as frosty as the other sisters yet but that was probably because we were so far away from the light. Today we got propped up about 8 inches higher and now we are close to even on canopy height. Smells like a mix of number 1 and 2 phenos kinda piney, but more lemony/citrus.PXL_20210703_161947814.jpg

As a bonus here's a Tropsanto from bag seed I found in a jar from a dispensary that I have running currently for the second run. Definitely a keeper. Was nice and citrusy up until about week 10 then the GMO started to come thru and by harvest at 12 it smells like straight up Gas and Garlic mixed with Skunk ass. I'm hoping to cut back on flower time a little this go around.PXL_20210703_162034970.jpg

Just checking in with a progress report, about 3 weeks of flower. #1 seems to be the winner so far. We are definitely starting to lean Durban poison as far as the smell goes. She is also chunking up real nice, definitely looking like it will be the latest yeilding plant. Also the frost, did I mention how frosty she's getting?PXL_20210710_172543429.jpgPXL_20210710_172617033.jpg

Number 2 is still chugging along, the purple is coming back now that Satan has decided to take hell back with him and it's not 110° outside anymore. Not as frosty and seems to be fluffy and airy buds, hopefully they fill out and swell later in the cycle. Still has the lemony tropical smell going on. We will see how she finishes out.PXL_20210710_172712828.jpgPXL_20210710_172747816.jpg

#3 is still squat and bushy, I propped it up about 8 inches and it seems to be happier. Buds seem to be filling out nice but not as fast or chunky as #1, not nearly as frosty either. Still has an nice aroma that seems to be a combo of the Durban heavy #1 and the lemony tropical goodness of #2.PXL_20210710_172828917.jpgPXL_20210710_172905586.jpg

And for shits and giggle heres Tropsanto starting to fade. Same thing happened last time so I guess we like to show our fall colors very early on. Right now it smells nice and fruity but around week 10 or so the GMO really starts to dominate the terps.PXL_20210710_172945494.jpg

Quick snapshot I got of number 1 tonight. Rock hard frosty nugs that reek of pine and something I can't quite put my nose on, but it's delicious. Starting to finish up fast, I'm guessing 2-3 weeks left on her. Will do a full update this weekend.PXL_20210722_011623038.jpg

Weekend update. #1 is almost done, once the pistils start changing colors we finish real quick. In about a week we went from 10% brown hairs to about 90%. Resin production is intense. Starting to purple up. Smells amazing like Pine and Lavender. Looks like it will be done at about 55 days. My keeper for sure.PXL_20210725_172805719.PORTRAIT.jpgPXL_20210725_173013617.PORTRAIT.jpgPXL_20210725_174238311.jpgPXL_20210725_174315316.jpg

#2 is doing her thing. Probably won't keep this one around after the next round. Smell has completely changed from tropical lemonyness to funky garlic/ vomit terps. Buds are airy and loose, probably my fault from N tox. Natural purple strain since beginning of flower. Good greasiness to it so we will see how it extracts. PXL_20210725_174708149.jpg

#3 is still chugging along. Not much changed in her world. Stacking buds and frosting up. Looks to be a few weeks behind number 1.PXL_20210725_174933527.jpgPXL_20210725_175001601.jpgPXL_20210725_175030055.jpg

Final update for number 1 before the chop. She's swollen up nice and the branches can't support the weight anymore. I opened the tent to see 3 branches leaning sideways. I'll probably cut her on Sunday evening or Monday before work. That puts her at 56- 57 days since flip. #2 & #3 are both starting to finish fast, similar to number one. Once pistils go orange they do so rapidly. All 3 are exhibiting purples with number 2 being solid purple since the first calyxes. I'm thinking they will both get the chop either next weekend or on the weekend of the 13th.... maybe the 14th lol just in case. Pics will come this weekend, I'm currently moving. Don't sleep on these guys, those boys from Southern Oregon have some fire genetics. P.S I want to state just in case anyone was confused this is not the same Massive associated with Shiloh, these guys are out of Southern Oregon

Love to see when people actually finish their grow journals , you get a lot of folks starting on then not finishing in the end with photos of the finished plants before harvest

Thanks. That was one of my first grows in years, if there was one positive that came out of covid, it was that it got me bored enough to get the itch to try growing again. But don't sleep on these guys, I ran their Sundog Og and one of my other phenos of Durban Tropegranate outdoors this year and both turned out phenomenal, the Sundog being my favorite. It had huge missile colas and reeked of gas and chemical cleaner, taste like it smells but it's got some nice purple flavors that creep thru on the dabs at low temp. The sundog was also finished by the second week of October, while all my other outdoor plants went a couple weeks longer
