Okay, I gave the girls lollipop trimming now. Yesterday after switching out the remainder of res water I hit it with PPM of 800 with the pH at 6,0 since the girls look big enough for that, there was a lot of lower canopy and flimsy colas that wouldn't produce anything good along with highly damaged and dead leaves. There's so much more room now and now I think I'll make the SCROG into the tent to focus on bending the colas into proper shape so they don't run against the door.

Girls seem to be fine now after the whole fucking fiasco. Made the SCROG yesterday, it's very barebones and helps the colas to grow straight as desired, but I'll keep an eye on of I need to create extra support for the thicker stalks that stretched during the week that my so-called friend watched over during. Been misting the plants once a day with 100~ PPM cal-mag foliar and today I sprayed some booster to encourage proper growth now that we've got the screen ready and I can start making headway for flowering.

In a way the week long shit-on-my-labours that caused the stretching works to my favour, there's enough space for the fan to fit and create proper airflow in the tent. If the girls grow just a tad more with proper short distances from the nodes I can start flowering by friday, well actually that's when I absolutely should if I want to keep the plants in proper size...

But I have to mention this. Respect to myke and Hust17 for sticking around the longest, mellow old school is there for a few posts but you two have been here from start to finish. Honestly I never expected anyone to stick around this far with me, since I couldn't exactly post this onto the grow journals thread since this is my first grow...

This turned out surprisingly easy yet difficult, a DWC system always has its kinks and now I understand that even in this world sometimes the brand can be a little BS (why in seven hells can't I find hydro friendly cal-mag from AN??? Fuckers lead in microbe additives but balancing nitrogen is suddenly completely alien to them).

I know it sounds a little selfish to ask, but I would love it if you stuck around for my following grows that I'll do right after my first one. Cheers!

No problem man,Im learning also.
Well we can learn together then. I'm thinking of slowly raising the PPM levels during flowering, first up to 900 depending on how the plants and root mass develops but range of 900-1100 PPM with the current size of the girls is something of an inevitability since I'll be playing with Big Bud booster that'll definitely affect the PPM. I'll keep separate logs of water PPM, trio nutrient PPM, booster PPM so we're all caught up on what's happening in the future.

Your ppm meter. What scale is it? Probably.7. I’m guessing. It is best to use EC. Then everyone knows as it’s the same world wide. My pen is a little off reads 1200 ppm in 1000 calibration solution @.5 scale which is 2 EC. I’m running my flower room now at 1 EC. Low I know but after running a dozen or so cycles I’m trying something different. My lights are led at only 500 watts so this is why I’m trying the lower EC. so far so good.

Okay so I addressed the pH issue and have adjusted the reservoir to 6,0. Fine tuning the level will have to wait until I get a proper pH meter, the stuff I have now is a basic aquarium pH test kit which can only tell within accuracy of 0,5 changes. I decided to document how the plants have progressed since the morning and even took some pictures with a measuring tape to show their rough dimensions.

Both of the plants are showing 4-5 flowering sites, which is a cool discovery for me since the other plant has just been topped. You can also see better how I have lightly defoliated the plants.
