Ok, so I'm having trouble with one of my problems on my Differential Equations worksheet. The problem is as follows:

A mass weighing 4 lbs stretches a spring 6 inches. At time t=0, the weight is then struck to set it into motion with an initial velocity of 2 ft/s, directed downwards.

a. determine the equation of motion and the velocity of the mass.
b. find the amplitude, period, and frequency of the motion.
c. Determine the times at which the mass is 3/2 inches below the equilibrium position and moving downward.
d. Determine the times at which the weight is 3/2 inches below the equilibrium position and moving upward.

Thanks guys, +rep for help! RIU is turning into my new yahoo answers for homework hahaha! Let's see if there are some math nerd stoners out there :D
