Maui Waui Indoors?

Hey guys, I got a couple of questions here. I will be starting up two seperate grows this summer, one is an outdoors bagseed grow and the other is maui waui from nirvana.

So my first question is can maui be grown indoors? I know it's typically an outdoor plant, but I'm not sure if I want to risk throwing the maui seeds in with various random seeds that could be males.

And secondly, can seeds ever go bad/expire? My friend has had the maui waui seeds in his room for over a year now and recently tried to germ two of them; nothing happened. No white tails and he germ'd them for about 36 hours. Now I'm wondering if it's because they've been sitting around for so long or if it's because my friend didn't use distilled water to germinate.

Any help would be appreciated.

Growing that indoors just depends on how high your growing space is. And if that is adequate, then I don't see why you can't grow it indoors.

Seeds have a life of their own. They can go bad, but I've kept seeds and germinated them up to 2+ years later. If your friend would have waited a little longer, I'm sure at least one of them would've popped. I just wet a paper towel with tap water, put the seeds in it and put it in a ziplock bag. I put it in a warm, dark place, and wait a few days. After 2-4 days, I throw out the ones that haven't popped. I typically get close to 100% germination rate.
