MAX YIELD FOR AUTOS?

Hey everyone.

Just thinking ahead for spring, how realistic is 100 - 150 grams a plant on an auto? Would be planting outdoors in to the ground, in a hot climate. I'm thinking maybe Royal Cookies auto from royal queen seeds. I see there are a lot of seeds advertise between 100-300 grams so just wondered if its possible under 'normal' growing conditions.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences.

I'm choosing auto for speed, not interested in photos at moment.

no problem. I know @Frank Nitty grows alot of autos so he may have some good strain advice for the outdoors.

If you have the resources you could also do light deprivation on photos to make them bud faster. Where I live it is beneficial to flower faster than nature because the humidity season is right when harvest season is, and it molds up all your crops fast.

the way around this is either light deprivation or autoflower, as well as getting the proper strains. If you don't have to worry about humidity in your climate you could do alot!

also you don't really want to just plant in the ground lol. It's actually quite cheap for a soil test and you could then start building your soil or just get potting mix and bury buckets in the ground with some drainage. In the ground is nice to keep the roots cool but you want quality soil especially when growing quick crops

Tip...Very important..

Auto's need as many light hours as possible so...you either need to start them indoors (in a large pot) with the intent of running them 20-24 hours to get the plant structure built (3-4 weeks)...then burying that pot in the yard when you bring it outside..not removing the plant from the pot and transplanting...

OR timing it so that you plant will have pretty close to max day length when you're plant seeds directly outside...targeting a season of 90-110 days depending on the strain.

Ah so autos dont sound as easy as I thought. I already have an indoor grow going, so I could veg them if need be, but then it kind of defeats the object of what I want to do. Which is basically to do a guerrilla grow on a mountain with about 5 autos achieving approx 100g each plant. I was hoping to grow outside between march and September, I live in Ibiza so we get good weather.

If you live in Ibiza...Why not just grow for your guerilla grow? You have the weather for it...

Here in Central Canada...above the 49 parallel, we have a short growing season...BUT those days have long hours of light due to the seasonal tilt of the earth..:
Just doing a little online search...In Ibiza, your Longest summer day is about 14 3/4 hours...while where I'm at, it stretches to about 16 1/2 hrs of light..not ideal, but a big benefit none the less.

The problem is I'm worried about people stealing it. I would happily plant 5 photo plants, but I dont want to do months of work to get nothing at the end. Which is why I thought autos would be good, 8-10 weeks then cut and start a new batch somewhere else.

That's interesting to know about the hours of light though, would 14 hours be enough to grow autos well?

With Auto's the more light the better..8-10 week timeline is likely a little ambitious too...harvest should be adequate

Since you're looking at doing a guerrilla grow perhaps look for stealth...webbed leaf strains..
