Maximizing Yield indoors 2013?

Alright I know this has probably been asked and answered on here dozens of times but with no real answer and it usually ends up thread jacked or just on a different subject completely.

But here it goes

I have a decent size flower room
I have 11ft from floor to ceiling
and the floor is 9ft x 9ft

I am running 1 1000watt HPS in a parabolic hood on a light rail that moves it from one side of the room to the other.
I have 19 mothers in veg
8 different strains

I have cloned a strain (local Skunk hybrid) so I could do a crop of just that
I have 10 rooted clones

I want to know how many plants should truly be the max in my room under My 1000w HPS efficiently and effetely maximizing my yields

Other notes on my grow
I use a custom SubCool SS recipe that I personally modified
Since I veg my plants in 2 gal grow bags I only use 5 gal pots for Flower considering he recommends 7 for a complete cycle
The reason for the strain
This local Skunk Hybrid has proven to be a great strain it yields great and has great potency

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated
I have also tried topping my plants my last two grows and lets just say the strains I tried suffered from it I ended of with more "popcorn" buds instead of more bud....Might just be me but I have read many articles on the subject of Topping so I'm pretty sure I'm doing it correctly.

Additional questions
I would also like to know how to pull a continual crop for example every two weeks.
If you have experience in this please help me out with your info.
Thank you for your time and I hope to hear for all of you.

9x9 is too big for a thousand watt. typically a thousand watt should light up about a 5x5 space max. you have the light rail so you might be able to squeeze that out to a 5x8. mj needs a substantial amount of light to grow dense buds. you need to keep your light about 24 inches from your canopy. i am not so into the light rails just because your plants arent going to be getting the light intensity all the time cause the light is going back and forth. if you cant add anymore thousands and your trying to take up more room i guess this would be best for your situation. to know how many to put under one light we need to know how tall you plan to get them before you flip to flower?
to have a perpetual garden you need to put plants into flower at different times.not the best idea with only one light cause you want your canopy to be as even as possible to evenly distribute light.

when growing indoors make sure you have a good amount of fresh air exchange or a co2 system.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Add a second light or partition off the appropriate space for that light.

Do you think another 400-600 would help me out enough for the area I have?
As for height when do think would be best the skunks I have are Hybrid and almost double in size when I flip my tallest is currently 1'6"
but if I was going to use just my rooted clones the average is 6" so what do you think I should do?
And how many plants under 1 light
And how many if I added an extra 400-600watts?

but for how many plants? all 10 more or less?
I have been told 5-7 plants under a 1000w max but how true is that?
I have also been told that 1000w can only penetrate 4-5 downward through foliage ? meaning 3-5 ' plants would be some what optimal?

I'm cutting down on how many plants in my room I usually do 18-22 thinking just to be safe on a good yield but I know i could easily do half that and get around the same yield but have bigger better nugs
