Any scenario in which the DNC moves to control the outcome of the primary process is going to cost them the election (obviously it's Trump election to lose anyway, but still).

BTW wasn't trying to go off of the Buttigieg topic, but a few posts seems to be of the "Buttigieg, because we can't let Crazy Bernie be the candidate" variety.
Just curious,

What do you think the -- "DNC" -- IS, actually?

Buttigieg Warns Against Sanders As The Democratic Nominee
Former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg warned Democrats against nominating Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders as their candidate to take on President Trump in the November presidential election after Sanders won the Nevada caucuses.

“I congratulate Sen. Sanders on a strong showing today, knowing that we celebrate many of the same ideals. But before we rush to nominate Sen. Sanders in our one shot to take on this president, let us take a sober look at what is at stake for our party, for our values and for those with the most to lose,” Buttigieg told supporters.

“There is so much on the line. And one thing we know for sure is that we absolutely must defeat Donald Trump and everything that he represents in November,” he said.

Buttigieg said that Sanders “believes in an inflexible ideological revolution that leaves out most Democrats, not to mention most Americans” and that Democrats can choose between “either ideological purity or inclusive victory.”

He also pointed out that his campaign is the only one to have beaten Sanders in any part of the country, a reference to the too-close-to-call results in Iowa, where Sanders and Buttigieg remain locked in a tight race.

“This is our shot — our only shot — to beat Donald Trump,” Buttigieg said. “So I’m asking Americans to make sure we make the right choice.”

thanks . I just ate the bastard whole. Next time
Taste is personal, but I wouldn’t pair lobster with a generic hotdog bun lol. Lobster has got some bite too it , so I would pick a bread that does too . Fresh french baguettes would be my choice. If you’re using canned meet like tuna , a pepperidge farms top split hotdog bun would be great .

A freshly made brioche roll would be nice or as you suggest high quality baguette. I wouldn't use a hot dog bun myself but it has no taste and wouldn't get in the way either.

Isn't Pepperidge Farms just another factory for crappy white bread?

Large benthic decapods play a key role in marine ecosystems by suppressing herbivores and by contributing to the maintenance of kelp forrests which are by far the world's biggest producers of breathable oxygen.

Go easy on the lobsters please. Besides, they're nonkosher.

We've got great decapods in Nova Scotia, don't care for it myself, too rich tasting.

I think a slot limit for lobsters is in order. Leave the big ones to patrol the reefs.

Besides, they are cool to look at and photograph.

When I did my first dives in Roatan, there was a guy who rigged up an old top opening freezer in the tide zone so that it would be just barely completely submerged at high tide and sitting in inches of water at low tide. He made it into a lobster trap and you could just go open it up and grab a lobster. He was this rasta dude who was always smoking Jamaican grown weed but he was eco-woke as fuck. Last time I saw him he was telling me about how the lobster apocalypse was devastating the reefs. People had been taking all the lobsters and entire coral reefs were collapsing. Fucking sad, just to eat a nonkosher and (in my opinion disgusting) ocean insect. I'm just an oceanographer though, so it's not like I have seen them in their natural habitat as bottom feeders...

Similar situation in California. The big reef lobsters are taken as trophies. I know somebody who didn't even eat his trophy bug. He froze it and took it to a taxidermist. The bug was decades old and of a size that mainly feed on sea urchins. He or she are a shrinking group and practically irreplaceable. Sea urchins are now devastating kelp forests in California. As you say, kelp forests are linchpins in our ecosystems.

It's a sad thing that gets little attention. It's almost as bad as eating shark fins or giant clam.

Well it’s not bakery fresh but better then the save-a-lot brand lol . Bakery fresh is the best but sometimes it ain’t so fresh . it feels fresh until you eat it lol ! fancy store bought brands are consistent, but use preservatives . I wouldn’t have responded but you ended with a ? There is so much dumb shit on these threads I figured a little culinary talk couldn’t make it worse lol ;) .

Some good recipes show up here every now and then. It's a good distraction.
