This is a sweeping generalization. As with most simple pap, it contains a grain of truth, making it sound true but isn't really true. Colbert coined the term "truthy" for simple minded little factoids like yours. Republikkkans repeat crap like that all the time.

A pardon is not possible for impeachment.
Once the impeachment case is forwarded to the Senate, he will be impeached and the Senate will vote on removal.
The Senate will acquit, and it'll be over.

He is your impeached president now, and he will be in three years, and in the meantime he will continue to seat judges, build walls, enlarge the military, and cut taxes.
He is your impeached president.
