medium base or large?

Is there any diff between large base hps bulbs and medium base?the larger bulb seems to be brighter is it?

Anybody out there?is the larger base and bulb brighter than a medium base smaller bulb ??

Its hard to say one bulb burns brighter than another based just on size, theres a lot more variables, like the company that makes the bulb, the wattage for the bulb, is it standard or high output. I know that you can get 1000w HPS bulbs ranging from 126 000 lumens to 150 000 lumens just for standard HPS sockets.

i do know that name brand bulbs are said to produce more actual light.
or possible last longer.

Welll im not to sure about what brand i got, just the medium base 150 hps dosent seem to be as Bright as the large base one .ah WHO knows?
