Medium price PH meter

I would like to buy a PH meter for the price of 50-100$. but one that does accurate measurements. In the cheaper ones I do not believe, always cheat. However, I don't have money for BlueLab or Milwauke. I need something a little cheaper. Something similar to the "NukeHeads Soil PH meter", but to be available in the EU, or with cheap shipping from the US or China.

Do you also need an EC meter? Or do you already have one?

Apera makes a $50 pH meter that doesn't suck. You're right that the $10 ones are junk.

I've got a nice $90 pH meter but use an $8 pH drop kit 99% of the time. You can be quite accurate judging the color, its faster, no batteries, no storage solution concerns, no calibration
I don't see a cheaper than $300 on their site.
I also think about "GAIN EXPRESS Soil pH Moisture Light Meter" for 50$.

Roughly $130 will get you an Apera PC60, that does both EC and pH. $30 more than your $100 max budget for a pH meter.

Edit for Amazon link:

APERA INSTRUMENTS AI316 Premium Series PC60 5-in-1 Waterproof pH/EC (Conductivity) /TDS (ppm) /Salinity (ppt) /Temp. Multi-Parameter Pocket Tester Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01ENFOIKA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PJVHG6J8XPXYVC4FAGJ6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I’ve had mine for several months now and I love this damn thing! One of the single best purchases I’ve made for this hobby in a long time.

The "ADWA" ph meter is in your price range I think. Should be able to order in europe.

To test soil, take a sample, add purified water, let it sit, filter it and check the ph

i owned a ADWA as a APERA.
APERA is way better for a similar price.
They do sell over Amazon in europe, so should be easy to get (sometimes there are offers).
The APERA EC meters are great too offering a very wide range and beeing precise.

Bluelab is the best of 4 different pH meters I’ve used. Save up and get the winner.

HM PH-80 is a ph meter only for liquids.
Maybe I'll take Bluelab, but the combo is too expensive, rather it will be Bluelab Pen, it's a little cheaper.
At the average price level, there is almost no choice.

Bluelab combo meter is sub $200 cad, on amazon.ca. OP, have you checked amazon.eu (or whatever the amazon is for your region)?
Lol sure if you want to spend that kind of money. I wouldn’t after seeing multiple people receive broken meters and dealing with their customer service, not being able to calibrate their meter AT ALL and missing out on grow time.
Ive been using that green $50 apera and it works like a charm.

but people swear by blue lab. And it is an expensive standard. But there are other tools that don’t cost an arm and a leg to get the same job done.
