For the haters..
Gh trio...works great
AN trio works great but is really expensive...my top 2 favorites
Dynagrow...weird that i have to use that gallon of PH up i bought 3 years ago but it grows like a CHAMP

MC...pails by comparison...ESPECIALLY IN A FULL WATER SYSTEM.

AN and dyna both require no maitenance...top ups is all...AN works from PH 5.3 to 7.0 and swings very slowly.\

MC...get out that PH pen and get a gallon of PH down...it shifts up really fast...

Sludges up too.

AN and dyna (my 2 latest nutes) leave the water clean after 1 month of just top ups.

I will pay to make it work right. It just sucks in hydro because nutes are a huge part of cost (nutes and water are most of it)
I run drain to waste so the only ph drift I get is downward as the benificials seem to acidify the solution after a couple of days

Doubt ill be grabbing a bag for a while if at all.. I just got a 22lb bag at the start of this flower in january...
I really like it in veg and will likely keep using it for that, but im unsure of its future in my flower system.
Ive never had any issues with it being dirty or sludgy, I have experienced drastic ph swings in the 2nd half of flower though. Its really weird. Itll be solid for a while then just drop like 1.5ph over night.

This shit is the only reason its still in the equation lol. but its MC + MKP with calimagic and epsom supplements, not just MC.

Ok well thank you for the reply’s to my first post. It seems we have gotten down to some real issues. So obviously it’s not a good option for hydro systems. I used it in coco but was always hand watered and only mixed what I needed for that watering.
The PH thing seems odd to me. I’ve heard it drive the PH up and down over time. I wonder what causes the difference for each person.

Like I said in my previous post it seems to be a solid choice for a small grower that wants to KISS. Obviously if you want to run hydro there’s clearly better options but if you don’t mind hand watering I can say it’s better, in that method of feeding, than jacks and gh, in my experience and opinion.

Glad I got all this feed back and even happier I switched to PBP since I’m in the process of setting up a res for DTW drip system in coco. Getting tired of constantly having to weigh and mix nutes to hand water everyday.

You will love automated feeds.

Granted that MegaCrop's older formula (hard to dissolve white chunks) posed some problems, but I've been using it it for over a year now with great results. I run 4 gallon coco hempy buckets dtw. I make up a 35 gallon reservoir by diving the MC between 4 1 gallon jugs of HOT water, shake them up and let them sit for a few minutes, shake them up again and pour them into the reservoir and fill it with room temperature dechlorinated water. I use a paddle mixer before feeding for the first couple of days ... I know it sounds like a pain, but it doesn't take much time and results are well worth the effort.
I won't be trying the new formulation until Oct/Nov ... tents are down for the next few months ... but I expect it to be as good or better then the old formula.

didnt like the old mc but mine was v1 so I wonder why, but I finally opened up the part a just using that thru whole flower cycle I like how it looks nice clean white powder don't got shit in It from what I can see. I'm hoping I just don't get shit in my res anymore. I've never really had ph problems with my res so I don't know.

so you haven't started using it yet? that's one nute i'd like to put in the rotation one of these days
No I’m currently in the middle of a seed run and since I don’t bother saving anything from those but the seeds I just run them with jacks bloom booster from start to finish. Why use good nutes when I’ll just throw everything but the seeds in a compost pile.
FYI I only grow for myself and of the 3 runs I can do in a year I get more than enough from just 2 to supply myself so I have no need to bother even trying to make concentrate from it.

But once I start using it I’ll def let you know how it works. My original plan was to just use the PBP soil bloom but I’ll probably get the PBP grow rather than try to figure out what I’d have to add to the soil bloom to get more N in veg and early flower.

I’m on my third mega run in nectar #4 soil with extra compost + sweet candy + mag amped, and could not be more pleased with the results. I’m just a home grower, but I’d put my flower up against any top shelf at any dispos around here. I love mega.
I learned about it from two commercial soil growers here in OKC, who have had great results.

Nice so you have to mix it with a bunch of stuff for it to work good. that seems to be what everyone with good results does. It's not really a 1 part they just don't tell you what needs to be added they make you guess it's really strange seems like megacrop could just tell everyone what needs to be added if no one has good results using it as a 1 part

To be fair I’ve never tried it by itself.

I think I’ve used every version since MC came out and I have had zero problems. Only issue was in the beginning when I was using dwc but still worked like a charm.
I just dropped an order on the new batch and their new A and B so I’ll drop some feedback in here fellas.

You can run MC by itself and it does a great job I’ve used it like that but you can always improve by adding ur touch this is just a baseline.

One of the commercial growers who introduced me to it used Mega alone for at least one cycle, maybe two. The flower came out great, but his yields were not ideal. I believe that has improved for him substantially since adding Shine to his regiment. I think that's a fair statement, though - it's perfectly adequate on it's own in most cases, but really shines with some additional components.
