Megacrop

It’s dry.
I was given a couple boxes of remo to test, megacrop is just as good, but 100x cheaper
Why pay for water?
When Remo was trying to get their food into the stores they were back dooring it and selling wholesale to end user. Had customers come in and price it out and then call me a rip off as they were getting it directly at cost and buddy wanted shops to stock it lol, Fuck off and these were the exact words we told them Great another $4K in food stock stuck on the shelf taking years to sell.

I love bricks, the ability to prebuffer during rehydration to prevent calcium deficiency is wonderful. I grabbed a 5kg one that expanded to 60-70L for this current grow and will likely never go back to the bagged again.
Totally agree.. I add cal/mag to 20ltr of r/o water hydrate the brick and let it sit for a few hrs.

You should have called the Remo rep's boss and told him what was going on. Sounds like he was greedy and trying to collect commission buy stepping on his distributors. I wouldn't put blame on the whole company for having a bad apple in the bunch.

I got 2 of the boxes for free, it grew fine.
Everything I’ve ran I can get it to show good results. But when MC is putting out just as good smoke n weight as all the high priced nute companies, I’d rather pay $300 a year vs $300 a crop.
They way things are going , if you can’t pull 1.5+ gpw n keep costs at a low , it’s not going to be worth keeping a garden when you can buy it cheaper.

How many people will be still growing when it’s $500 a unit? Not worth the trimming at that price for me.

It was straight from them there was no "rep" then, I know the guys who were getting it as I lost a couple bigger customers to food, directly back doored. Anyways seriously there's 100+ food manufacturers in NA alone not including how many in EU/AUS.

Well I suppose the ones who want a specific strain. Oh, and those who want it grown pesticide free with a certainty. And there are some who just enjoy growing and take pride in their work. Of course those that do not want find another source. Maybe if everyone was freely selling that would work.

It was $500/lb a few months ago. Hell Vietnamese will grow it and sell for $400'lb. Only reason the market stagnated and price dropped as there are so many licenses in Canada that eventually it hit peak production and it got saturated with no where to go.

Too fill a 500 litre res would cost $11.00....that's very cheap. Plus the P-K boost in week 5 to finish....didn't figure that one yet.
Depending on what PK you get that is pretty cheap too. I use the DNF 0-50-30 like I said earlier, 20$ lasts me 2 whole crops (with 4 weeks veg) and I have a 303 litre reservoir. So figure I fill it once a week it is also really cheap stuff. And you don't have to use it. I just use both to get colas like in the pic. I have never tried it on its own to be honest, all the pictures I see online don't show larger colas with just MC alone so I haven't tried it (yet). 20180912_201207.jpg

I believe it does have to do with the water. I use lakewater that I nuke with chlorine and do not filter and then re-add bacillus Amyloliquefaciens, so there is already a strong organic component to it in terms of different nitrates etc. Hydrology is a science.
First scientific research I participated in was a survey of microorganisms in marshland that has since been absorbed and digested by urban development into a monstrosity of boxes made out of ticky-tacky...

It was decades ago. I was 4, helping my dad gather water samples for research for his masters. Great memories.

Sorry for assuming that, that's pretty greasey for them to pull that bs on you. I don't blame you for feeling the way you do. I'm on my second run of Remo, two days ago I just ordered a litre each of micro, velokelp and nature's Candy. Seems like those 3 go through faster than the other 4. Honestly if I knew your story I would have tried something else. Remo Nutrients seem to work just as good as Advanced nutrients, but I don't like to support bad business. I thought I was supporting a good Canadian company instead of a good American company. I'll use up what I have left and cosider megacrop or jack's for next round. I don't know much about either, actually only know about megacrop from this thread, Green Gene uses Jack's 3-2-1 I was thinking about trying it.

First grow ever, I am using only MC and their bud explosion.
I have used MC from the start.
Only RO water + MC + hydroguard in a 90 gallon RDWC system.
I had some light leaks early on and caused some root issues about a month in, but i have not changed my water since then.
Also agree about it being super PH stable. It stays 5.7-6.0 without any help from me. The only time I had to PH my system was when I first filled it and the 1 water change. Theyre up to drinking 15-20 gallons every few days, so i just keep it topped off with fresh water from a holding tank and add nutes at the end of the week or if PPM get more than 100 below where I want it. When they were drinking less I kept a smaller holding tank with nute solution to keep it topped off.
I am up to 1100ppm and I have not noticed any settling. This may be because of the size of my water pumps and my sprayer waterfalls keeping it "stirred up" maybe? but all of my sites and outside res have no settling or deposit build up after 8-10 weeks of not changing anything. Just a little of the white ring around the edge.

I let them veg a little too long and they got a bit out of control because I didnt do enough trimming before I switched to flower. They arent quite as dense as they look, but I put a few more fans around the bottom of my tent to make sure theres still decent airflow. I learned a lot about how they grow and how to manage the growth so my next crop will be kept a lot more under control.
Here's two of my ladies some time last week. Everything starting to bud up nice now, will have to get some pics tomorrow.

Another unbelievable aspect to this mega crop stuff is the fact it's good for veg and flower...like WTF. Have I died and
gone to heaven. What no veg A & B and then Bloom A & B omg...is that part nice as well.
I can't go on results yet as I'm only testing this stuff. Plus I'm running out of MC before my next order arrives.....I'm thinning it out a bit. I carefully examined the one test plant I'm running and it look pretty good really. I month in anyway.
Added my PK last eve as well.
This will also save a lot of money spent on PH up and down with it stability.
To me because I'm only trying it, it seems to good to be true. It sure could simplify things and SAVE HUGE $$$

Given all the positive reviews on the stuff AND its cheaper AND no A&B I'm going to have to look into the stuff. So if it's not available on Amazon just yet are you guys getting it straight from their site?
Yeah I'm in the US so I just order directly. They're working on Canadian and UK distributors but ran into some issues recently with getting that done

This is one of my smallest plants. Its a Black Widow and they got seeded a bit later than the rest so they are slightly over fed.
Friday will make 4 weeks at 12/12
