Hello all. Bought a used magnetic 400 watt ballast. Put in new MH bulb. Light works, nice bright blue, no flickering, noise. But noticed a couple of days later the center is getting a cinged yellow scorch mark like the light is burning up too early. Its been a while since I used HIDs (tried LED's for a little while). Can't remember if this is normal. Also, guy I bought ballast from said he used it for one week but "touched his bulb" so the bulb.... shit. I just got fucking scammed didn't I? Or is a small burn mark normal for a three day old light?
