Mexican Sativa( Acapulco Gold)

As the title states... Mexican Sativa Acapulco Gold..I got these from a friend whom scored some seeds.
I have a total of 26 seeds in which fir now I’ll only attempt to germinate 6.
They have all dropped to the bottom of the cup so I will be placing them in paper towels soon and will post and keep updates.. if at anytime you’d like to chime in feel free..

Are these recent seeds or from far in the past? Closest I have come to AG is Chimera Highland Guerrero x Blueberry. The various AG like Snowhigh and Bodhi have are not it. They do turn gold a bit but are not that potent or trippy. The Bodhi is hay really. Barney's had a hybrid supposedly of AG. Good luck to you anyways, but lots of AG is fools gold instead.

No these seeds came straight from Mexico..my friend brought them back so they are from this year.. he took the trip around June...I have these 6 in a cup, hopefully they will germinate..my brother also took a trip Mexico on boat.. brought an oz back but it had no seeds...these have been in the cup a couple days.. idk.. I checked with mass medical.. was gonna try and get the free pack of Gold.. idk now..thanks for the heads up!

Sweet looking plant whether it's genuine AG or not.. and this sounds very interesting I love learning about landraces and old school stuff can't wait to see how these turn out for you man good luck!

I really don't know if this has interest here. I saw a video about Wille Nelson somewhere. In the video he stated all the genetics for his variety marketed in legal stores came from seeds he got while smoking in Mexico. He grew them supposedly on his Ranch.

The plan is to try to grow a mom out of what ever I have.. to see if it has an resemblance.. knew it was to good to be true... I’m looking for super skinny leaves first off... if they germ, I’ll go straight to 13/11..So there is no REAL AG LEFT.. man I thought finding skunk was a problem..

Yes..a ray of hope..

Let me try to explain how this all came about.. I’ve asked him repeatedly because I really wanted this!!

He comes to my shop and tells me he’s going on vacation with friend to Mexico... not with family but friends..

I tell him as I told my brother may you gotta try some real AG over there.. they both replied..” definitely “.. I told my brother to bring some back.. he brought an ounce back via boat.. fire but no seeds.. like damn

However my friend went loved the gold.. he called me and told me a guy APPROACHED him.. hey man I got that AG.. he couldn’t believe it..he asked if he could get some seeds with it.. the guy replied sure.. later he went to the beach.. same thing .. he grabbed that package also..

He brought me back 26 seeds, I placed them into the fridge and here we are today..

I’m trying to find something that started me to smoking!!! I’m tired of all this other weed that is putting me to SLEEP.. no real laughter and giggly feelings.. I’m not burned out.. took a trip to CALI... dialed up Canna Concierge.. ordered 4g @ $50 of AG.. GAT DAMN BLAZED..I cant tell you if it was the real deal.. because upon break down I did notice a lot of purple in the buds...but if I could find that shit again...I’ve got a Rosetta Stone XX going along with Barney... hoping to find that sativa buzz..

I thought Barney had some Gold in there.. picked it because it was a cup winner also..

These seeds have been in the cup for at least 36 hours without any signs of a root showing. I’ve placed them in a paper towel in a warmer environment.. fingers crossed!

I just found some nice Acapulco Gold & crosses of it ar Snow High Seeds.. anyone know about the gold they have..

^^ I grew out some Snowhigh AG x Michoacan. It all leaned heavily to the AG side. I found his Michoacan and Zacatecas to better smokes for me. His 'AG' is good no doubt, but Chimera Guerrero beats it by quite a lot. Have to find the better pheno of it though.
