MH and HPS

Would it be best to use MH lights for veggin and HPS lights for the flowering period?

You can use hps for veg too, though mh are a bit better.

I'm giving these a go.

if you can, use MH for veg.... and give both a shot for flower, both your MH and HPS.

it is said that the spectrum in MH is better for veg as it resembles the spring to early summer sun.(when a plant vegs). and the spectrum of hps resembles the late summer to fall sun.(when i plant is flowering).

i know for a fact it will make oyur buds super frosty. A friend had done this with his first plant ever, it was the most crystals Ive ever seen on a nug.

if you can afford it,DO IT. it definetly better to use MH for veg an HPS for flowering. i got a 400 watt HPS system for 150$ on EBAY (a great place to buy supplys) i went out and spent 60$ on the converted MH bulb. my plants grew 1 1/2 feet tall in 1 month 9 days. well thats bought as far as i can go with that cause they were all MALES! i was pissed but check out this link and go to lighting......IT WILL HELP. ttp://www.a1b2c3.com/drugs/mjgrow10a.htm

ya, i had found a good online supply of lighting and other goodies. They sell refurbed lighting kits, Ive heard nothing but good things about this site from a few friends, but you never know when u may get a DOA ballast.
