This may be a stupid question and something that had been questioned before but i was recently responding to a thread when this thought crossed my mind. Anyways on to my question 
Joe schmoe has 1x mh and 1x hps,
Joe flowers with the hps and 2-3wks before finish when he begins to flush he adds in his mh to the flower area until finish.
Would doing this help reduce the amount of chemicals retained in the plant when harvested (as opposed to using a mix spectrum bulb). I would have to assume that the addition of the mh during the flushing period would increase chlorophyll production and in return help remove any nutrients the plant may be still holding on to (flushing the plant faster i guess).
Anyways just a question. Anyone think it would be beneficial for the flushing process for a mh to be used in this way?
I know im gonna get why not just add the mh the whole time, well defeats the purpose. Using a mh the entire time through flower does increase leaf production and well the more leaf material left on your bud the shattier its gonna taste.
