MI gh GROW

this is a call for help......I'm trying my first outdoor grow with a 6.5x6x8' deep GH. Need to try this as my indoor grows have been great but just not enough room for 12 plants (legal in MI). I know nothing about outdoor growing and gonna try Blue Ice, AK-47,and Cheese Quake. I'm using Sunshine Soilless, 3 gal pots and FloroNova grow and bloom. I hear that outdoor puts you at a great risk for bugs so need some advice on what spray to use (using pest strips). So here is my GH....

BT spray for worms, neem oil for mites, use 5 gallon buckets at least, maybe even bury them into the soil and cut out their bottoms.

First off I'd can those bright ass silver trays, 1st you run the risk of cooking your leaves by causing hot spots 2nd you'll cook your pots. You only need trays if you think you will run out of water quickly in high temps or you want to gather the run off to stop your grow room from looking nasty. Let the run off go into the soil and you will get better pot temperatures as well.

As for soiless mixes mind you they are awesome and I am using them now, they do dry up quick and require a lot more attention to the needs of the plants in regards to nutrient intake. I have 5gallons with Pro mix hp and the plants are about 4-6 feet tall in the greenhouse I built. I have to water at least every 2 days so keep in mind 3 gallons are most likely going to be an every day watering when the plants get to size. I always say 5 Gallons Minimum outdoors but to each is own.

BT is a good organic pesticide which kills caterpillars and bud worms but you also have Dawn dish soap and Neem oil that will do the trick as well.

Get a fan to hang in there to keep air movement so you don't get mold or bud rot..good airflow is essential in a green house. Im running a 16x10 GH and i got two box fans in there :)

I remember flora nova..that shit is dirty as all get out lol

gonna put fans in there but need the pans for water issue, can't always get to them daily. So choice between heat and dehydration

here is where I'm starting, repotted 8/4/12, susposed to be Purple Paralyzer and in the part cups Blue Ice (a real big hit last grow) and Blueberry Punch. One thing really puzzles me, what is susposed to be the PP was presented as a 60 day finisher ????..... anyone comment ? Any way gotta find some quick finishers in clones, kinda late for outsiders in MI as you never can predict the weather here. So not much to see here but my girls.......
