Yep more info needed on the wammie. Your doctor not signing isnt a big problem as there is several clinic that with your chart notes will sign your rec for you. Just tell your doctors office that you need the last 3 doctor visits chart notes and then go pick them up. Make a copy of them and then send or fax them to one of the clinics and then they'll give ya a appt to see them.If you qualify then they'll sign your rec and away ya go.The other questions are yes and yes but there has to be more to the question for the right answer.Probale cause comes into play also. If something happened before ya got your card then you can still go after the A/D part of the act and have it dismissed.Little more of a hassle and cost ya more but that covers patients also untill they get there cards.

Oh I qualify and my doc was the one that recommended i use marijuana. If he had his own clinic I dont believe he would have had a problem.

the Detective even told me about pot causing cancer....and in my obviously bent over crippled up body I told him.."Oh jeez..shut up , you've been reading the propoganda too" I turned and walked away as he threatened to call DHS. The other Detective was"cool" lol not really.

Ive done nothing in my life to warrent this I dont bother people tell people give people shit in anyway, so whatever, i called a local doc 25 miles that has clinics all over Northern Michigan. So hopefully I will hear back from them soon. I want to get this done ASAP.

We've some doctors like that down state too.Scared to sign or there office wont let them.If a doctors afraid to help me then they dont need to be my doctor.It has gotten better in the few months that the laws been in effect but we've a long,,,long way to go.Just get copies of your chart notes and call one of the clinics.The clinic for compassnate care is traveling around the state so check them out and see if they're comeing to your area... tbi stands for traumatic brain injury?? i had brain surgery like 10 yrs ago and my equalibrium has been off ever sense. last time i went to docs i had a cats scan and they told me my brain wasnt firing correctly but they didnt know how to help?? wtf !!!!

I would imagine your in pain often from this injury and that all of that is in your medical history. There are receptors in your brain that are there to react with marijuana. It is quite likely an educated Doctor would recommend you try medical marijuana to relieve your chronic pain. VV

Fully agreed. I highly doubt you would receive any flack from any sort of "real" doctor. Know your stuff and present what you believe to be helpful in your case. We all have this natural inclination to feel guilty about our affliction and the benefits that MMJ poses. So we doubt our ailments worthiness, because we have all seen someone out there that makes us say to ourselves, "they really need medicine, phew Im glad Im not that guy". This same thought makes us dissuade ourselves of our validity. If MMJ helps you in anyway, it should be made available to you. Ask for it, make a law do what it has been voted into existance for and improve upon your well being.

From what I understand, the state of Michigan treats cards from other states with the same protections as those offered by a MI card. In essence, having a CA card is as good as having an MI card. As far as "transferring", if you are talking like staying in MI for a long period of time, I believe you would have to go through the same process as every Michigan resident does. However, there may be a situation where you can "renew" your card, in the same manner that a cardholder in MI must do after a period of one year.

Your California card would cover you for possession until you get the details worked out. I would call one of the clinics listed on the 3MA website and ask them what you would need to do to get a Michigan Card. VV

See, that is the problem, their is not any 'crew', they do not understand that you need to delegate authority and follow up. It all starts with honoring your commitments.

Well, I would like to take issue with one of those, not a very big one though. The 420 idea, protecting patients by banning our meager resources together, and hiring lawyers is the right idea, the execution of the idea has been wrong. I stated from the beginning that I would not support anything that did not have accountability, like the MarijuanaRanches MMFM, money going to one persons paypal account, no idea how much and for what. I objected to the way it was being handled, that will be changing.
I went down to the State Capitol yesterday and payed the bill for the space we had at the Capitol that was supposed to have been paid by the MMMF before the event was to be allowed, I just found out last week that was never paid.

There are three specific things I am working on right now.
One is the www.migrowers.org the Website for Michigan Medical Marijuana Growers Association, please stop and read the mission statement there.

Second is the replacement for the 420plan, I don't like the name and will not let mine be associated with any organization that does not believe in transparency, again the idea is sound, we just need to execute a solid plan. Please give us a week to get that together.

Third is the establishment of more compassionate care clubs. We need to be able to have a complete organization there as well.

BlueBerry is working on the www.micaregivers.org website.

None of these groups will make me any money, they will help patients and care gvers get quality medicine for the lowest possible cost. There are many of us that really do care. VV

VV, I respect what you and a few others are trying to do. I think that hidden agendas by frequent submitters to the mma site, have caused damage beyond repair.
I am one, who fled and wanted to be an active advocate for the cause in the worst way. My input was unwanted. I will hate it if , the few lead the sheep to slaughter.
So to speak.
I will try to contribute funds as available to your efforts, as I believe you have a strong chance at making a difference and at least preserving where we are thus far.
People on the site seem too think that STFU is a response to a debated issue. tisk, tisk.
Keep up the effort and I will be checking out your new site.

Well stated and they reflect my thoughts as well.

I think the big problem with a lot of people there is plain old closed minded selfishness. Too many of these people have been looked up to for so long by their peers, that their word was "Gospel", but now we have a lot of these types (who are stuck on themselves) in the same room together, and IMO their having a problem with the fact that no one is willing to roll out the red carpet for them. If these types would just keep the attitude of " To Each Their Own" in mind, there would be a lot less in-fighting.

It seems to me that some have formed a clique so to speak, and if you don't fully conform, you find yourself on the bad side of a lynch mob.

FWIW - I totally agree with the 3MA mission & there are a lot of great people there, but if you are thinking of joining, please do your research & get an idea of what you're stepping into. I wont post there anymore, I rarely even lurk there anymore.

We do have some of the same problems as any group, the cream will rise to the top. What has been lacking is any organization. Its that ready, fire, aim syndrome. We were in such a hurry to get something done, even if it wasn't the best outcome, at least it was something. The response we are getting from the folks that really do care has been phenomenal, my Assistant Director received over a hundred e-mails the first day we posted a map.

Our own Michigan Medical Marijuana Magazine will be out on the First Anniversary of the Law going onto effect, you can check them out at www.4MMagazine.com Get your subscriptions in, we interviewed Rick Ferris, the publisher yesterday on our radio show, www.justgoodradio.com 5 to around 6 on Mondays. Rick said the art work on the front cover is going to make this a collectors item, I would think so. 22.000 copies is my goal for this first issue,its only $5.00 and you can get a subscription for $50.00 for the year.

Good things are coming folks, just hang with us, things are going to turn around, we are going to be a force that they will have to reckon with. VV

Thanks for the info VV. I visited the 4M magazine site & I can't wait to get the inaugural issue. It shouldn't be hard to sell 22,000 issues. I think it's just what the Michigan Marihuana community wants and needs.
