I've been able to track down most of my ingredients but I have been county to county searching for a few of the items. I was wondering if anyone knows specific places on where to get the rest of my ingredients.

I still missing the humic acid and azomite.

+rep for info

Humic Acid and Azomite go to ebay or google it. And you can use the rock phosphate but Sub no longer calls for it in his most current recipe. On Subcools Super soil thread page 42 he says this about rock phosphate when asked about it

"rock phoshate has NOTHING to do with this mix I used it once cause I had some I see no diff with or without"

Good to know t ray thanks for the heads up. I have been working with a 1/3 recipe I had found so I will now check that off my list.

I wanted to avoid internet for shipping costs.

Hic awesome suggestion they are a bit far from me but I don't mind road trips lol.

Any other stores out there?

I know Down To Earth has a granular azomite in a box, but as you said no local stores seem to be carrying it. When I was asking around about Humic Acid most dro' stores have it but when I said it had to be powdered they basically tried to sell me on the liquid form. Ebay is really the only way I found both items readily available and in the form and weights I was looking for. I like you didn't want to have to do these things online either, but if you want them promptly its is by far your best option. Not only that once you get Azomite and Powdered Humic you wont have to re-order more for a long time as a little goes a long way. Shipping costs weren't that bad either I got both for around $25ish including shipping.

I will contact my friends at Best Buds in Lansing. They have an outfit for supplies in Jackson County called Mid-America Growers Supplies. I think its time someone supplies all the ingredients and advertizes for Subs Mix. Ill let you know.

Also contacting Mighty Grow on this subject.

azomite has a website that tells you of the distrbutors. I bought a huge bag at the Ann Arbor greenhouse supply in town on Main street down from the mongolian BBQ. None any of the usual shops or grow shops had it. They only sold it in a 50? lb bag lol they also had great deals on kelp. Some rocket scientist should buy a bag and break it down into one pound sizes at a grow shop lol....ebay was the best source for humic powdered forms and including the proper form of humic at that..

Subs receipe is strictly for growing marijuana and no other purpose and anyone advertising that they have Subs Soil Mix is subject to federal prosecution for knowingly selling marijuana related items. Thats why you cant say Bong or marijuana in a head shop.

A few stores have denied my request to supply the ingredients for Subs mix. There is a soil called Michigan Medical Marijuana Soil. Its taking its place in stores evidently... Guess the best is up to you still! ;)

J. O. C. - Not a fact. My friends at mighty grow are patients and caregivers advertising to a medical marijuana community in a medical marijuana state... No crime, no fuss.

If a non-patient purchases a product with the intent to cultivate cannabis, that is a crime.

If it were a crime to sell soil that is designed for cannabis, Michigan Medical Marijuana Soil would not be in stores.

"That's why you cant say Bong or marijuana in a head shop." - This is only the case with non-patients selling those items. Patients are exempt from paraphernalia charges in most MMJ states...

Not sure were you live but smack dab in the middle of kalamaOo and battle creek there's a top notch grow shop called all things good and green and they have a super soil that they have mixed for them that I'm almost sure is subs recipe, or at least damn close to it.

I just got a bag the other day for an experiment. I will let you guys know the results compared to subs supersoil mix and also doing a run with roots organic soil with their organic line of nutrients. Quite an experiment but we will see what works best. Using 1000w hortilux with lumatek ballasts. Adding 3 more at the end of the month so we will be able to tell soon.

Do tthe nutes and this stuff rinse when you run your water to fast or water to much? does it matter if its a wick bottom feeding pot and is this reusable ? should i ammend it with new soil throw it out? mix it with cocoa ? and or give it nutes to finish the second time i reuse it, if possible? I want to use 420gs.com self watering pots with soil system. I requested this at my local grow shop I cant wait to try it. I have Jedi 41 , Elephant , Lord: Vader diesel ,Jedi pure (backcrossed), pure Power plant and Deathstar ) more.
