hahaha thats hillarious i woke up this morning, it wasnt even laying on its side or anything, just really droopy, so i made a decision ( premature i now know ) and now i regret it whole-heartedly lol oh well ill give it another go soon

whats the farthest along your plant can be before its too late to clone?? i mean is there a time limit before u can clone? like after 4 weeks no later than 9? or something like that?

Theoretically speaking you can clone at ANY TIME during your plant's growth. It's just that the time to recover into veg will take longer as you take clones from an older plant.

so how long does it usually take before it reverts back to the veg state??

Week to a month depending on WHEN you took your clone. Further into flowering --> longer re-veg

damn thaT sounds like awhile u gotta wait.... up to a month to start re-veg then the actual veg state and then flower? seems like just going 12/12 from seed again would be better because i can germinate the seeds anytime i got plenty and it could grow along with this one.. what u guys think????? to clone or start over with a new seed for my next grow? wiegh in with your opinions!!!

It depends.. Clones are GUARANTEED female, while seeds are not.. If you have feminized seeds though, by all means go ahead and start another one. I seem to get lucky though.. all the seeds i germinated so far were female

Growers usually take clones when they want to retain the same genetics of the plant, such as resistance to stress, vigorous growth.. etc.

Hey King- If all your seeds are the same strain as the current grow(bagseed) Id probably just seed it(but thats just me and I'm an idiot). I'd still learn to clone and do a clone maybe of the best ones.

thanks for the input man i think im gonna just germ a seed of the same thing this is and let it get started alongside this one while it finishes

im with u surf all my seeds are the same i germed about 15 two nights ago with the paper towel method i still havent checked to see how many popped but tomorrow im gonna plant a few and let em go for about a week at 12/12 then pick the best one and go with it. i will still probably try cloning at least once more mostly for the experience but im not sure yet

new pics my girl is a lil over 24 inches tall now starting to make a cola on top i think. another thing is, the very bottom fan leaves have trned a pale green/ yellowish color and im wondering if this is from it becoming rootbound.. any ideas guys?? anyways, i germed my seeds and im gonna plant a few today... and i might even try cloning again tonight...... wish me luck!!

well here goes: i tried to transplant, which was a good idea because the bottom 2 inches of the dirt was just engrossed with root tangle they were wrapped all around the outside in a circular way. anyways the top BRoke oFF during the transplant. yep, it BROKE OFF!!!!!!!! the entire top 6 inches of the stalk snapped and fell off. im an idiot i know. my question is will the rest of the plant continue to grow once it recovers from the trans[plant shock? i need help guys? i clipped it off at the 11th node and its now only 19 inches tall. think itll top maybe??

hey man good lookin grow. shitty that ur girl broke tho haha. might b a bit late but you should make a reflector for those lights n try 2 have the side of the cfl facing the plant as well, more light comes from the side then the top. i made a reflector out of some tin foil cardboard n the top of a old dvd player haha. pretty easy 2 make a reflector n it more then doubles the amount of lumens hitting the plant, more lumens, more growth, more bud. just my input tho. good luck wit ur grow man ill keep an eye on it 2 see how much u get off of her.

Sorry to say, but I would predict lesser budding since the plant would focus its resources and energy on repair.. Best thing that could happen now is the plant NOT becoming a hermie.

wow dude that sucks.
nice plant still. i did the same thing last year though my stem i didnt fully snapp, just bentd. it happend when my pot fell of my wall and broke and i had to do an emergency transplant, but it was a waste of time becuz it evenutally got stolen..

She still looks good. The other branches will take over. I was taught to get all the topping done 5 days before flower. But she has been in flower her whole life so I can't say anything helpful. Good luck nice thread also.
