micro growing need help. wast of time or a good use of space

because of this falls frost destruction of my outdoor crop im forced to try and grow some indoors. but because of my need to be stealth and my lack of space im starting to consider micro growing... growing rather small plants and flowing them to produce a small yeild every harvest but then your able to harvest more often right? if i was growing 5-10 plants to 18-24 inchs tall would it really be worth my time or would all my hard work just be to smoke an 1/8 every couple months?
