Do you think I even had a Cal Mag problem to begin with? Should I try a flush to rid of the excess Ca?

I didn’t see a calcium or magnesium deficiency in the pictures pre-treatment. As to flushing I think I would just use straight water the next couple of times they’re dry enough to take it.

Yes, ewc, flower girl, guano(currently cavern creature),kelp,humid acid. I water in fish shit and occasionally molasses and alfalfa tea. I use fish shit to keep my plants on the edge of burned and lay off the last couple weeks of flower to let the color change. Also a guano tea may be available quicker if needed.

Ok, I appreciate it. Do you think my watering 1.5 or so gallons every 4-6 days is ideal in a 7 gallon pot?

Your volume is good. I water by weight instead of by schedule. But your time sounds about right.

Firstly, Make small changes and be patient.
The pictures look similar to a situation I have been in, due to pests or PH fluctuation, what is the soil ph? what are you PH'ing your water too? what type of water ie distilled or tap?

I think my first run, this is my 2nd, had a lockout with a soil PH problem, but I was never really sure how it happened. I am PHing my water to 6.6-6.5 and using tap water that I usually let sit overnight, longer if possible, and also aerate with an air stone. I PH before I am about to use it. I think the tap PPM is around 140ish. I do not know the PH of the soil. I don't usually have runoff to test when I water.

None of this really has much to do with 'lock out'.
Lock out happens when you provide too much of certain nutrients and that stops the absorption of other nutrients. So too much Ca/Mg may lock out P or K, etc.

The next time the ProMix is dry enough for a feed/water, I'd put some good amount of water through it, but at the end of that, I'd finish off with a gallon of feed. I'd move to feeding & watering to runoff (its obviously what you're doing now is not working).
I generally do my 'flush' so that I collect and measure the very first bit of runoff that comes out, then I keep going and re-measure until I'm happy with where the EC ends up. After that I do some feed.
I've been doing ProMix in 5g bags and each bag gets 2 gallons worth, and that provides something like a liter or liter and a half of runoff. Plants that are smaller or less demanding usually are 4 days between feed/water and more demanding are every 3 days. I can't believe with 7g bags you're saturating the medium enough with 1.5g of fluid.

I am still questioning my watering amounts. I was under the impression with running organics and slow release you don't want to water till runoff as I thought the runoff would bring some of the nutrients with it and also some of the beneficial bacteria. I did a topdress at week 5 and it should have been my last feeding, so I thought, until harvest with just PHed water until then.

You're running organic nutrients in soilless medium. It would be a different story if you're using organic soil.

You should feed to runoff every time you water in Promix. It's not totally inert, it's organic peat bog, but it won't feed your plants.

I just finished my 8th indoor in a 3x3, 1st time using promix hp mycorrhizae.
3 gal fabric pots. I never really take much pictures anymore... after 8 runs, it's all the same.
I used Miracle-Gro blue salts 24-8-16 for veg and 15-30-15 for bloom. I was thinking about switching up but after seeing the results I will continue using.
I used city tap water (avg ~ 180ppm 7.0pH). I don't ph correct, no need.
I read on that training center to feed full strength 3 times then 4th time with inly water to flush salts build up.
I read that you should never let it fully dry out in peat as it causes salt buildup.
I read that each watering/feed should be until you start to get runoff, but not so much its like a flush running out.
I'm extremely happy with promix after figuring out the feed schedule.

Here is an update from this morning. I trimmed off some of the most damaged leaves and gave her a good watering of about 3 gallons and was able to measure my runoff at just under 2000 ppm. I did shop vac most of the runoff and will give her another good watering in the next day and hopefully the PPM is down a little. Today marks day 2 of week 8 of flower.

Thanks on the watering advice. That is the only real thing I changed was to give her a little more water than what I was and she seemed to bounce back.
