yeah thats what i meant it will travel regardless of what i do. aswell why does it take breeding longer outside and what are some tips on maintaining seed growth on the plant if any?

Awesome topic, really enjoyed my time reading. Now all I need is a seed so I can try some of this wondereous work myself. I know i'm starting slow.

I remember when thats all we got was seeds, and we bitched about it.

doesn't everything take longer outside? i could be wrong. i'm doing a little in and out at the same time. it gets confusing. i try to document things but then i just bend up with 100's of notes to try to decipher. as far as maintaining seed growth, i don't know. i just feed and water them. sorry i'm no help at all today.

i've seeded the one inside and the pods are already seed size swollen. i will try to get pics tonight.

So how long does it actually take for seed formation? If I flower males + females at the same time, dose it take like 4 months total to wait for males to mature and then to pollinate the females... considering average flower time for fems is 8 weeks?

I am a bit of a complete noob in this area. Seems like you have to guess which ones are the males and flower them first ?

i put mine into flower for about 10 days. at the first sign of sex i put the females outside to veg. i kept 1 male inside my flower room until the flowers were just ready to open. this took about 3 - 4 weeks. maybe less. once the male flowers were close i put it outside to ripen. when i had enough swollen pods i killed it. whole process with the male took about 2 months. the females are in full veg and i can save pollen and pollinate them in august if desired. hope this helps.

Thanks for a great answer. +rep

Another related question, how much does it stress and/or set-back females
by changing their light cycle to induce flowering to sex, and then back to veg? As far as total setback time , would you say it costs about 2 weeks? 3 weeks? All of my grows are currently from standars 10pks of seeds. I really want to be able to get more seeds from every batch I buy for future use.

Also, I am only getting about 14.5 hours of light right now outdoors- is that enough to bring them back to veg from flower with good results?

i have issues cloning. it takes me weeks to get roots. i found it easier to put them into a quick sex check flower cycle. takes 2 weeks at the most to determine sex. i use a jewelers loupe and check daily. you can usually see a hair before a pod ever comes out. i had 1 plant that reacted funny when going back into veg. it got 1 set of branches that got curly leaves but they are now straightening themselves out. the others showed no effects.

14.5 hours should be ok. as long as the plant doesn't get to far into flowering.

i missed what strain u laid that roadtrip with. that female looks hefty. what are the traits you are trying to find mixed in the children?

no roadtrip. it's a new strain. the original "hijack" genetics crossed with "trainwreck". i call it "raft".

if my math is correct it's been 7 days. wow, soooooo swollen.

i did the lower branches and they look like yours pretty much. can you over mature seeds and will the seeds multiply more than what there is showing now.

you can't over mature them. some polen may linger and pollinate a few more. i pollinate numerous times on the same plant. i've hit this one 3 times now. i have one next to it that is not being seeded. it is looking killer.

You don't have any issues of stray pollen with the paint brush method? Do you have any experience with them indoors?

i am pollinating indoors. i take the plant out of the room to pollinate it then it goes right back in. i have 3 fans blowing and have had no stray seeding issues as of yet.
