I also won the mimosa seeds and have been really disappointed to read this thread. What has the potency been like?

Yes I checked Symbiotic seeds out. I would bet it is better than Barneys, but my GF and I get a good buzz when we smoke it and it makes some wonderful FECO.
I would love to find some clones from a quality symbiotic Mimosa mom.

Well it is a completed grow. Six plant SCrog that I got pretty close to right.
Here they are the day prior to chop!

One plant, buds removed from stem.

In the jars and ready for cure, 30.5 zips final weight, 1.5 zips below my goal but about 3 zips larger than all previous grows. May lose a few grams during cure.

Now about two weeks curing time, may not take that long.
Going to take a few months off and hope to start the next grow in mid July for the fall run. Going to run Barneys Farm Dos Si Dos 33, unsure if I will run a 5 plant vertical of 4 to 6 plant SCrog.

Let us know the taste and smell, also great job on your crop man!

Yeah don't get me wrong, the potency was unreal and unlike most my daily smokes I come across and I mostly smoke top shelf! Just the flavor and smell put me off it so much cause this wasn't the aim I was going for if you understand what I mean.

Very strong high in my opinion and I have a high tolerance!
Just like I mentioned before, the flavor and taste and smell just wasn't the Mimosa I was looking for and nothing like it whatsoever!

I know what you mean, I have smoked shit from Colorado that had wonderful flavor and aroma but the high was not there.
I have found three aroma's in these pheno's, one very distinct the other two are close in fragrance.
Another problem I have with dispensary cannabis, it is always way to dry. JMHO!

The taste was literally like Fanta NO JOKE!
Turns out that every single time I had Mimosa, it was the original Symbiotic Genetics Mimosa, not this Barney's Farm one.
Also not sure if anyone else noticed, but on their main site they changed the genetics from it being Purple Punch x Clementine, to it being Mimosa x Orange Punch..
That was something that really irritated me too, but not too much as when it happened I was still growing it and was thinking that it might actually be better with the added orange terpenes that will make it even more fruity!
Boy was I wrong and it turned out more gas and pine and only a slight smell of laundry detergent kind of citrus..
Never again, I still have about a dozen of those seeds and I still went and germinated a Do Si Dos bag seed rather than that, also I managed to get my hands on a clone of the original Symbiotic Genetics Mimosa the purple pheno as well, so I'm hyped on how that turns out too in the end!

The real mimosa is by symbiotic genetics if you get there seeds you will definitely get what you want in mimosa.Ive recently done Highmac from sunken treasure seeds I seriously recommend anyone to purchase their seeds thy cost alot I paid £255 for 11 regs but seriously best investment ever got 4 females. Well after about a month of cure I can say I am terribly disappointed in the quality of the EVO.. Beautiful plant to grow but the quality is just not there.
Time to look for a new seed co.

Not sure, most I have seen say it is nothing like they expected. Well I have never tried it so no idea what to expect. Stinks to high heaven of Fanta and I can't imagine the potency will not be there.

Will report back in a few weeks
