Mini split

I was just told that a mini split in a sealed grow room without negative pressure will push stinky plant air into the house. I have closed cell spray foam installed and I thought the whole idea with a sealed room is to not vent out at all. Anyone else try a sealed room then had to switch to venting? It seems counterintuitive to me! It is so hard to learn when you get such conflicting information!

Sealed during lights out and vented during lights on? Seems backwards, can you explain why? Is it because you vent while the ac is running?

Put a carbon filter in the grow room and run it as a scrubber.

The minisplit does not create a positive pressure as it pulls from and blows into the same room.

Thanks! I have a scrubber, I was planning on doing exactly this! The first crop will be a trial run anyway but I was hoping for less holes in my house.
