Burned plants? I didnt see any other kind of perlite so I grabbed the MG and I didn't see that it was enriched with MG plant food, I figured it was but I was in a hurry.

MG Organic Gardeners Choice Soil also has fertilizer in it, im not sure how much though... anyone know if my plants will be cool? Shes starting to yellow a bit and needs 2 be transplanted with some clones ima take from her. I think they should be fine because I read up on the perlite and its not supposed to have to much nutes in it but idk.

depends.. the mg organic garden soil says on the back only for outdoor plants. i tried to use some on my indoor veggies and it burned every one of them.. found out some of the mg organic is strictly supposed to be added to bad outdoor soil then tilled in. just make sure you have the right stuff, because i couldn't figure why my veggies were getting burned so bad.. found out the hard way. at least veggies are hella cheap, like 1.50 for a pack of 20-30 seeds lol.

Here's a tip: start your seeds in perlite.

Once they have strong roots they love MG organic soil, just mix 25-50% perlite with it, depending on the feeding habits of the plant. I have one herb, very light feeder, can only handle 25% MG soil and 75% perlite mix.

I use MG organic for my moms (clone+hydro=flowers) and for veggies. It's great stuff. :weed:

Thanks for the replies guys, im going to be using it 2 parts MG Organic Soil and 1 part Perlite, I think she'll be fine.

vh13, you say to start the seeds in perlite but im going to be using clones, can I start them in just perlite? I was going to use peat pellets.

yeah i use MG organic and perlite...with about 30% of perlite

just don't use any nutes for about 3-4 weeks....plain phed water

That shit comes infested with bugs... beware of that.

Very true, I forgot to mention I add about a 1/4-1/2 inch of sand on top of the soil. Takes care of them pests real good.

I start my seedlings in perlite, but I'll also root my clones in it too. With clones, either way once rooted they like nicely buffered soil.
