Missouri Police fail.

who says i don't know this?

you are arguing with yourself. i'm just sitting here watching the news.
LOL... well your posts make it seem as though you believe the cops do no good at all. Apologies for misunderstanding your intended context!

I'm watching America: The Story of Us... great series!

I could go and find 1000s of links of good things cops have done, but what would it do for you?

They're not my personal opinions, they are facts back with reason and experiences of millions of people, and I didn't know the news was always 100% factual, that's a surprise to everyone I'm sure!

MOST cops are not bad...

It is just as a said in the last post... the news like tragedy, not happiness... tragedy captures people.

So the GOOD things cops do are rarely every reported in the news, but the bad stuff is plastered all over.

Again, you should know this.

Also, even though you have no "personal fight" in this, why does that stop you on suggesting things we should do to cut down on corrupt cops?

You wanna post links to all the bad things cops do, talk about them coming to kill my dog for smoking a joint, but not offer anything to counter this?
The reasoning behind this Socata, is that the cops the cops shouldn't be doing ANYTHING bad. They're whole purpose is to stop those who put others in harms way (or themselves with narcotics). So it's only natural that the amount of stories where cops do GOOD is significantly higher than stories where cops are doing BAD because their whole job is based around serving the people and weeding out the bad eggs.

FDD's point is cops are becoming more and more abusive with the power they have been given, at least in his area.

Obviously MOST cops do their job first and foremost, but that doesn't mean they don't take advantage of the power they are given as well. That's where I believe most cops are at. At the two ends you have the truly fantastic cops who don't abuse their power and only focus on removing crime. Then at the opposite end of that you have the truly rogue cops.

I agree with about everything you said fried...

but I also believe it goes way beyond that and as I stated earlier, has to do with our current generation of young adults, of which I am a part of.

Just so happens that our generation is more full of pricks, assholes, and no goods than any other... and some of them become cops.

I guess I'd be part of that generation as well but I feel like our generation is less accepting of cops and more accepting of pot then any previous generation (the two go hand in hand as long as cops continue to treat potusers as criminals), which in itself is opposite from being an asshole (potheads are generally kind spirited and aren't really violent people)

Who knows if our generation has more pricks and assholes that's pretty much impossible to measure. However, being a cop would be an ideal job for an asshole. Nobody can fuck with you and really get away with it...yet you can fuck with everyone and almost always get away with it (unless it something severe).

i used to live offa filmore street, and in the tenderloins, the kids there shoot at cops and write messages on walls like graffiti with the badge number of the cop and how he would be dead if seen in the area.

those would not be 1000 good things, that would simply be 1000 examples of the police doing their job properly. they work to serve and protect us. so anything "good" they do is all wihtin their job description. i'm pretty sure abusing power and falsifying evidence etc isn't in said description

FDD's examples are of where the police are bang out of order and abusing their power. doing your job and absuing your power are two totally different concepts.

and by your reasoning, if the police had shot that boy in the head with a high velocity rifle, it's still totally fine, the dad was to blame. a lot of the issue is the excessie use of violence, not whether they should or should have not intervened.

as has been said, why could they not have knocked on the door in daylight, been civilised, etc etc.

Training is where the problems are. These swat teams are dressed in full armor, guns blazing. They are trained to be monsters... so you could probably say they are all bad...MAYBE there is like 1 or 2 reasonable people there, but they are all trained to do these horrible acts. They probably 'weed' out the good people and classify them as weak. March 2, 2010 "A judge has ruled the suit Mayor Cheye Calvo filed regarding the deaths of his dogs in a horribly botched 2008 pot raid can go forward. The judge denied motions by Prince George County and the State of Maryland to put a stop to the mayor's lawsuit, reports Nancy Norman of NBC Washington." I really hope this mayor follows through with this...

I don't even like dogs, and that pissed me off. Fuck this piece of shit country, Fuck it's Idiotic Laws designed to bring down good people, and Fuck it's Evil "Law-Enforcing" Brainwashed Pigs. Everyone of them deserves nothing more or better than a single .45 slug to the brain.

The cops in most areas around here in the mid-south know to behave for the most part, as once they start making an Evil name for themselves, the more psychotic people amongst us will start to devote their time to finding out who these "Cops" are on a personal level, where they live, their daily schedules and routines etc, so they can pick the perfect time to go and kill them in front of their families. I've seen it happen before, and justice was rightfully served a few of those times.

Some of these cops are truly evil people, and their lives are not to be valued in any way, so I have NO sympathy for any of them who are killed. In fact, I would like to see every truly evil pig out there get his life taken from him in the most brutal way possible, one by one. :fire:

+rep same thing I got out of it.

good cops or bad cops from the start...it doesn't really matter if they are training them to use terror and unnecessary force to take control of situations - and why under the cover of nightfall as the article pointed out? Although, the humanity of the individual officer shows when they make the choice to shoot a fucking welsh corgi. They said he had a pitbull as well, but even if it was aggressive they are suited up in swat uniforms designed to protect them bullets.

it's fucked up because none of it needed to even happen. They guy was sleeping before they came and besides not talking much(smart) he was complying with the officers the whole time. The situation never needed to be controlled

More reasons why I pray for cop shootings daily. Not every cop is good? Well not every citizen lost their balls. Cops have "misfires" and unjust killings... We snap every few months. I think it's fair. So please, next article reading "officer takes 5 in the chest" please!

theyre on a power trip like i said before a dogs life was taken , it doesn't mean just because it was a pet that it's life was valuable now my aunt is a cop and i know she would never do this they should do investigation work first how about 2 or 3 cops going in with a warrant insted of a entire swat team ...like they should be busting armed robbers, cocaine heavy loads and people who are murdering people not someone witha bit of pot but thats our society for you

You failed to realize my reasoning then, no way in hell I came close to saying shooting someone in the head while they're running away from you is fine.

Excessive use of violence, maybe in your eyes... but when you become a cop and you put up with 1000s of people who use excessive violence on you, well the rules have to change.

Sure, if every pot dealer was an upstanding father, husband, etc... like this guy, maybe they could do it in daytime, knock, have a cup of coffee while talking about the stupidity of the law against MJ.

Unfortunately, especially in that city, it's not the case... most dealers are no goods, with guns, etc.... so they have to go in and surprise the shit out of them to minimalize human casualties.

Also, I agree they have no need to shoot a dog due to the clothing they wear... but, it is the officers right to shoot a dog by which they feel threatened...

The chief came out yesterday and said the Corgi that was shot was a complete accident, both dogs were around each other and the pit acted aggressively, officer missed and hit the Corgi.

Of course, none of us were there so none of us can say whether or not that is true of false... but it's what the Chief says and I'm more than sure the chief has a dog, so he probably feels for the owners.

And Benassi... hope I never see you if I ever I come into your FBO, I might forget the brakes ;) Your posts are always so stupid, and so deserving of a bullet.

Really? the chief said it was an accident??? If you watch the video they shoot the dog...its yelping and crying and then they shoot it again to kill it. I'm sure that was 'accidental'. I wouldn't buy that load of horse shit.

They're intentionally killing a poor helpless dog.. :( ?? ;( Not fucking cool at all. How would you like it.. if that dog was to just tare into your throat??? You wouldn't appreciate that too much would ya? Those kinds of people don't have a soul.. no conscious.. no heart at all! I'd like to have 5 minutes alone with each one of them.. personally. :| Fucked up man... seriously. You wouldn't want someone to shoot your ass.. would ya??!

Animals do have souls people.. everything with a heartbeat has a soul. You should be ashamed of yourself.. and you know what? I hope that at least for one of you.. I hope one day one of you realizes what you did.. and start feeling bad and guilty for what you did to those poor dogs. You'll pay for your sins eventually.. have fun. ;)

fucking assholes.. shooting dogs. I was raised, my mother and father always had a golden retriever. Best dog I have ever had... very smart and loyal dogs.

arghh..! I need to smoke a bowl now.

And every single one of your posts is defending a bullshit system because you can't get your eyes open. Trust me I hope you forget the brakes too... on landing. Your pilot personality is so very cliche and much deserving of a Hudson landing.

Also... Hard to come into my FBO when I'm self employed. Did we forget about our last "meeting" already?
That horrid industry is left in my past, thank fucking GOD.

Get back on your knees in front of the law and carry on blindly, sir.
I'll keep tally'ing up the numbers of cop shootings to the amount of police abuse and sexual harassment that have happened for so long. :)
