Mix Wholesale LED's off Ebay?????

Has anyone bought a LED grow light off Ebay from them? I was thinking of getting the 270W LED for my first grow, but wanted opinions on durability, grow reviews, and customer service.

I read this in a article today " UV light in the region of 285-315nm also has a benefit for resin-producing plants such as poison ivy or cannabis, however LED’s in this nm range cost over $90 each making them unrealistic for LED Grow Light applications. Based on this information, only 6 wavelengths or “bands” of light are necessary to meet all of the requirements of Chlorophyll A & B, Carotenoids, and humans. When UV becomes a cost-effective option, people growing resinous plants should opt for a 7-band spectrum containing 300nm UV."

The LED I'm looking at has 360 nm of UV. Is that fine or Not? Sorry, it's a two part question.

Don't waste your money in piece of shit eBay LED's. In fact, don't waste your money on LEDs at all unless your doing a very small grow. They can work, but the simply lack the penetration of HID bulb systems

dont even worry if the grow light has UV actinic blue will work just as well.

the particular UV action we want as growers takes place around 275-295, there are leds in this region but they are $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

bu over UVa which essentially has no effect(emulates he effect of UVb but lots more blue works equally as well) on the cannabis plant i would opt for more 420nm or 460nm or just plain old white.

"Hella yields on T5". Lol.

You can grow weed with any bulb....hell look at the guys growing with CFLs. T-5 are excellent for veg, probably the best bulbs for veg but when it comes to flowering, HID is the only way to go.

Watt for lumen, they are the most effecient bulbs out there. And yeah I know, it's actually all but PAR but they go hand in hand. Like
I said, you CAN use anything...but why would you? 3x3 area...I would throw a 400 with a good reflector over 3 plants in that space.

Commercial growers know what's up and you will never find them flowering with anything besides HPS.

I tried http://www.ebay.com/itm/Reflector-300w-Led-Grow-Light-Growth-Flower-Switches-8Band-LED-Grow-Lamp-Panel-/380578162921?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item589c39e8e9 this light and it was pretty good for veg but i never flowered under it and my bet is that it would not produce quality nor quantity on its own. Even in veg i supplemented with 4 t5's in the corners because led's dont penetrate too well. If your looking for energy efficent high output lights i'd look towards induction light's i just got http://www.ebay.com/itm/200-W-Bi-Spectrum-Induction-Super-Grow-Light-/251142726783?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3a7945e47f this one and its booomb i say its comparable to a 600watt MH/HPS for only 200w max haha i couldent believe it till i tried it. Only down part is they either cost a shit load from a manufactuer or gotta get them through a overseas source which can be sketchy to say the least.

They also lack the massive heat and power draw... I've seen grows in the LED forum with fat dense colas you wouldn't know weren't grown under a HID...

plus with the newer lenses and diodes/drivers penetration just keeps getting better.

i think i could mach my yields from either lights source at 400w. tho i think the flouro bud would be better because it would be full spectrum.

seen plenty of commercial grow flowering thier little side projects under all kinds of lights. seen planty of MH commercial grws.. been some some led commercial grows pop up here and there nowa days too. so your full of shit thanks for letting us all know that.
