Sup guys? So i'm bout to start my first grow, I've got 6 spots on my fixture, i'm doing somthing very similar to some dudes post down a few with the power strip and the plug-adapters with the Y-splitters. I've got 6 26w 6500k, and 6 2700k for flower. I've seen a few posts talking about how mixing the spectrum up a lil is a good thing. With the set-up i'm going to be using, would 4 6500's and 2 27 for veg be good, then 4 27k and 2 65k for flower be good? Any help would be appreciated.:-P

im pretty sure most people use 3/1 ratio like 3 6500k and 1 2700k for vegging im sure 2/1 should be fine to though
Thanx for the input dude, I still have a few days till my Fem Bubblicious seeds get here to decide what i'm gonna do +rep bro

Both spectrums do different things to the plant. Higher color (blues) are good for photosynthesis (food production for your plant). Lower colors (reds) are good for chlorophyll production (the chemical needed for photosynthesis).
A happy plant gets both. More blues for vegging, and more reds for flowering.
