I was just having this discussion yesterday. Technically, D.C. isn't a state, it's a "federal district", yeah? So how can they even say it's "state's law" here? I mean, it's federally controlled. So...

Kind of seems to follow that if it's legal there, it's legal federally, and thus, everywhere... No?
