Molasses? Flowering stage?

I recently decided to grow my own supply. Its my first time and I didn't feel like spending much money. So i got some seeds from a friend and 3 sprouted all females!:eyesmoke:

I planted them back in mid February

Anyways I left them outside on the balcony and feed them some miracle grow tomato plant food that I found in the garage. I have been watering them with just tap water, I did a little LST on them as well.

They look decent, one of the plants actually became kinda large and the others were manageable. I'm guessing they didn't grow very large, because the balcony has like a 15 foot overhang and at no point during the day do they ever get direct sunlight. The larger one has started flowering and I was wondering what nutrients I use uses.
I was at my moms bakery The other day and noticed that she has a shitload of molasses and I know many people use it, but I searched and can't find anyone saying how much they used.

Can someone help me out please?

From what I gathered, you start using it 2nd week into flower...right up till finish...yes during flush. I found it best to use molasses every 2nd watering...it allowed the nute watering to break down the molasses in the soil...you dont want it getting all clogged up.

Plants already make their own sugar/carbohydrates, so this is just helping it along...dont use crazy amounts either...again fucks up your soil (and can also introduce bugs to your grow area).

I use it in my grows (soil btw)...heard mixed results when used in hyrdo/dwc/aero etc

I use 2/3 large tablespoons in 10l (i really wouldnt go more than the 3 btw)

To mix, get hot water (not boiling) and mix in a small tub or bowl before adding to your nute mix

Molasses is used primarily to feed the beneficial microorganism living in the soil/water culture. its a ready source of carbohydrates that the bacteria can use to bolster their effect on nute uptake by the root system.

the recommended amount of molasses based on forum trends say that 1 tbs per 1gal of nute mix, water, or compost tea.

furthermore, most of the expensive liquid nutes use molasses, one can make a similar nute mix using just the raw ingredients and a bit of know-how.

molasses can be applied throughout the life of the plant, in flowering, use a guano/molasses mixture around the 4th week.

i use agave necter on every other water and scratch in guano (0-5-0) on the other waterings and a dash of organic age old bloom (5-10-5)at about 3 weeks in and again on the last water before i start my flush. the girls love it.
