Mold/disease?

A few days ago I broke the main stem. The plant seemed to continue to grow well but I noticed today that the flower top looked weird and I topped it and there was like red color under it. Is it mold? Or did I just top a perfectly healthy plant?

Oh ya bud, thats mold. Pinch that end off and get it out. Watch the plant obviously for more and any of its sisters. Start using dehumidifiers if your not, and if you are het another one. It migjt be from a worm or pest killing the bud, or an operator error like breaking it somehow, but look for it sreading. You may have to cut early if it progresses. Check inside long colas for more, wash your hands so you dont spread it, and remove all affected areas from tje room.

Thanks. My humidity is high at night. I will not be able to get a decent dehumidifier for a couple of weeks. I'll have to figure something out.

I'm doing a closet grow using passive air intake from inside the home.

This particular plant was injured and I'm hoping that was the cause. I'll inspect the rest today.

As far as your humidity goes I've heard people putting cat litter in bowls inside grow room to lower humidity by sucking moisture out of the air. Might be worth a try(pretty cheap).

Cat litter? Awsome! I picked up some damp rid to hang in closet and some Garden safe fungicide 3. I plan on getting neem oil and a real humidifier next payay. I can get some cat litter from a friend and will add that too. =)
